I am not one to leave reviews unless it’s a good experience or a bad one. In this case, it’s a bad one. What brought me here was reading the reviews of how many people were satisfied and recommended this place. This was the second time I stopped by. The first time I visited, I got my toes done. This time around i decided to get my nails done. The lady on station #7 did such a poor Job on my nails from the beginning. I gave her instructions on what I needed done. It appeared she was bothered as I directed her. I specified I wanted my natural nails kept long just shaped a specific way; my nails were shorten and poorly shaped. After examining my nails I noticed The acrylic was uneven in some nails and other poorly shaped. There’s spots of thick gel left on my cuticles which most nails techs remove. She did not take her time, rushed through the process and rushed through the curing process in each hand. She was careless and seemed frustrated. I told her if she was frustrated she can stop and switch with someone else. I get it if she was, perhaps she could have taken a break before taking me on! As I asked for certain things she argued back with me instead of just doing what I was asking. I hope the acrylic does not lift from my nails. On top of that, she was rude and argumentative , my hands were flung in the air without a care instead of kindly asking for me to move them or kindly tapping my hand. I payed $40 for an awful experience. As a customer you pay for what you ask. I highly doubt I’ll return to this spot. I was sadly, very dissatisfied and disappointed at the service I received today. i just moved here two months ago and been having a hard time finding a good nail place. I thought this one would...
Read moreI don’t know what happened. Of course there has been a staff turnover since I was last here maybe 2020 when things closed down. But the first set I got here a month ago all lifted…. the manicurist forgot the primer it seems. Popping off and lifting within a week. Second time in for a fill a new staff added LOTS of glue and powder to counteract the lack of primer and the lifting. Took photos as well of the lifting. Nails were so THICK and still had a nail pop right off. Second fill and the polish has set SO thick. Shop really lacks good colors, staff doesn’t seem to understand “pearl” vs “nude” vs “glitter” (no glitter please!) . All the staff are super nice. Super sweet. Polite and they all smile and say hello, very welcoming. Shop seems to have a good crowd, same consumers every Monday morning so they’re loyal…but the quality is just way off. Not to mention the guy there with his feet and dirty flip flops INSIDE an empty pedi tub. Just a huge turn off now and I had been coming here FOR YEARS!...
Read moreMy daughter's nails came out really nice. I wish I had noted the name of the manicurist. However, mine are nothing like what I wanted. I showed the nail technician a photo of what I wanted and got something different. It doesn't look terrible but it's just not what I wanted. She cut my finger and was a bit rough. And all this to say, I can handle that. What I can't handle is that they are not sanitizing the stations in between clients. Although the doors were open, I would recommend that they invest in air purifiers or fans that help circulate the air and prevent any transmission. And I wish they adhered to a limited capacity. I realize that I have the choice not to get my nails done during a pandemic, and this was my first time since pre-covid, but it just felt like safely wasn't a concern. One guest was drinking anda worker removed her mask to speak with a guest. I don't know. I guess I'm just not ready to...
