I have been using this Jared's location off and on since 2017, when my original engagement ring was purchased. To make a very long and arduous story short, I broke my original ring and came in back in June to purchase a replacement. That was visit one. Visit 2: The sales member ordered the incorrect size for my enhancer, so it needed to be taken in to make it fit my enhancer. They made me sign for it and told me to bring it and then enhancer back so they could be sized together. Visit 3: I drop off the enhancer and ring to be sized together to fit my current ring size. I was given a pickup date. Visit 4: I call, they can't find my ring for about fifteen minutes while I wait on hold. Once it's found, I come in for pickup and the whole thing does not fit-- not my ring and not my enhancer. The sales person asks to keep it overnight (without a repair ticket being put in) to fix the issue. I leave the ring. Visit 5: I come the next day to pick it up. The enhancer fits again, but the engagement ring is too big and is now missing two diamonds. They tell me I have to wait for the shop manager to come back before it can be repaired. I ask that a ticket be put in so I have proof they have my ring. I have now dealt with three different sales people (including the store manager). Visit 6: I come in at the agreed on pickup time. The person who promised to have everything fixed is nowhere to be found, and my ring is still not ready. They had to order stones and did not feel the need to call or update me. I am close to having a mental breakdown at this point. A fourth sales person assures me that they will call tomorrow when my ring is ready. Visit 7: They call, I come pick it up. The engagement ring is still loose in the enhancer but there is no chance at all that I am leaving it with them again. They apologize, and again, the person who supposedly was going to fix everything is nowhere to be found. They offer to put a sizer on it in order to keep the stones from audibly scraping against one another, and I leave the store.
If you've read this far, hopefully you understand how difficult this entire process was. I was extremely upset by the end of it and had plans to go back and create a stack for my other hand with the original band; I will never, ever trust that store with anything of mine again. I regret purchasing from there and desperately wish I had used a different store. I will now have to drive over an hour to see if I can get a different Jared's to fix their terrible craftsmanship (my shanks are uneven, the ring audibly rattles in its setting) because I have their "plan" that covers metalwork. I will never make another purchase from them or their online store since this location is the one closest to me. I sincerely hope that no other customer has had to deal with this much hassle and drama to get their (extremely sentimental) jewelry fixed.
Edited 8/1/25: I see the response to the review. As the respondent mentioned, I ultimately wound up returning the ring, after they were unable to offer a replacement due to it being out of stock online and in store, so to their credit, they refunded it. I am now working with corporate customer service.
My final note on this: as you can hopefully see from the tone of the response, customer service is not their forte. This ring was purchased with the help of an associate in the store on 6/22; they had to order it from the online store, that is the only thing that makes this an online purchase. I went in because I needed help making sure the ring would fit my enhancer, which was indeed purchased in their store in 2018. They said it would, and it was ordered. I trusted them. Huge mistake. The "desired look" was putting the ring inside an enhancer. I went to their store to receive expert guidance on jewelry, because it's literally their job. Anyone with a credit card can order things online. Diamonds are a luxury, and in this case, a symbol of a lifelong commitment. I needed help and I did not receive it....

We noticed the prong holding the main stone in place appeared to be loosening. They told us it was nothing to worry about and that the stone was secure. At the same appointment I ordered a necklace for my wife and a sapphire stone to be placed into the necklace. This necklace took over two months to come in. I called every two weeks or so to check in on the piece as it takes me about an hour and a half to travel here. I was constantly hung up on or would never get an update on my jewelry when they told me they would call back after they check in on it. We have now had our second inspection and instructed them yet again that the prong was loosening even more. We were told yet again that it was fine. Two weeks after the inspection and my wife’s center stone is now free floating and moving around in her band. We were told that we needed to make an appointment in order to get repairs done to the ring. I have now been waiting over 30 minutes for my “appointment” and no one has yet to even look at our ring. Since my original review in September of 2024, I have bought several more pieces from what has easily become one of my favorite places. The staff is phenomenal. They always excellent care of me, my family, & my friends here. Spend an afternoon there for a Le Vian showcase (as we did in April) and you’ll start to feel like family. I absolutely love every single member of the staff I’ve dealt with there, but no one beats Ginger. She & the rest of the staff are the reason I continue to go back & spend far too much money there & why I will continue to do so for many more years to come!!!!! 💜💜💜
