Have always had excellent customer service and quality food at any and all Chick-fil-A restaurants until we were traveling through Montgomery. Upon entering the restaurant my husband was fortunate enough to encounter 2 very nice gentlemen who held the doors for him and our special needs daughter, a few minutes later my older daughter and I entered with her 4 week old child. She proceeded to ask the "host" for a cup of hot water in which to warm a baby bottle. He gave it to her and she placed it at her booth in front of ours while she went up to order food. I was sitting with my special needs daughter and my grandson at the next booth with the cup of water in full view. The "host" walked up and looked at the cup and proceeded to wipe down the seat and then the table, around the cup of water. He then picked up the cup of hot water and without a word set it directly in front of my special needs daughter. While I was holding my grandson I was unable to move very fast and called "sir" three times before he even acknowledged me. I asked if he would please put the cup back on the other table that we were occupying because my daughter may grab the water. He did move the cup but proceeded to tell me that we couldn't leave it there because the table was only for people to sit at and that drinks were not to be left unattended. I then informed him that we were using the table, at which he still came back at me saying that no one was sitting there and the cup was unattended. Already becoming frustrated I reiterated that we were using the table and that the cup was not unattended, that I had it in full view. He responded by saying that there were children running back and forth through the area and that they could come and pick up the cup or run into the table and that if we left the cup on the table that we were accepting responsibility for any injuries incurred by those children. "Wow" was all I could think and told him it would not be our responsibility but the responsibility of the parents who allowed there children to run around the restaurant. At that same time, the gentlemen that helped us on our way in stepped up and asked the "host" what the problem was because of the escalation and the scene that the "host" was causing. He also proceeded to tell the "host" how ridiculous he was being and that he needed to step away. The "host" then started arguing with the gentleman and that he would call the cops on him. The gentleman repeatedly asked for the "host" to step away from all of our tables but still kept arguing as he finally walked away. The gentleman came back to us and asked if we were OK. Not once did this so called host offer any other alternatives or apologize for any inconvenience. He did however proceed to go back and start talking about the situation to his coworkers, overheard by my daughter when she returned to the counter to ask for a cup of ice. And to top it off when I went to take my daughter to the restroom, I left 2 of our drinks on the table passing by the "host" on our way. When I returned just a couple of minutes later he was standing at our table wiping it down with no cups in site. I asked him if my husband had gotten our drinks or if they had been thrown away. He informed me that he threw them away because we had once again left them unattended at which I told him we passed him going to the restroom. His reply was to tell me that he didn't pay attention to who passed him or who had left tables that he was just there to wipe down the tables and walked off. Again not apologizing or even offering to replace our drinks. It was certainly not a "pleasure to be served" at this restaurant. Allen "the table washer" doesn't need to be involved with any customers. I will not let this one bad egg keep me from stopping at this particular Chick-fil-A but all should keep there...
Read moreBusy Friday night (we went inside) so I was understanding and patient. I ordered a #1 meal & I stated no tomato. Thinking I was ordering the one with cheese and lettuce (deluxe.) Once I got my order it was just the the regular sandwich with the pickles. So I go back inside and wasn't upset and was even willing to pay extra to have the cheese and lettuce put on. The girl I had helping me was making it WAY more complicated then it needed to be. She couldn't just charge me for a slice of cheese, so then proceeds to tell me she can charge me the $4 (almost $5 by itself) deluxe sandwich. I said no I just paid for the other meal, so I'm not going to pay for a whole new sandwich when this one just needs cheese and lettuce. She repeats the same thing again, in which I said I'm not about to pay almost $15 for a sandwich (I had just paid over $20 for two meals and now she wants to charge me for a whole new sandwich.) All I wanted was TWO ITEMS put on my already paid for sandwich. I would have thrown them a dollar for the trouble. This worker needs to understand that she was trying to charge for an additional sandwich that I had already said I would be fine with keeping if they'd just put the items on I asked for. Who in their right mind would pay almost $15 for one sandwich??? The chicken isn't worth that. Get real. Won't be back to this location. (2 stars because for how busy it was our food didn't take...
Read moreWill never return to this location again. They have done their very best to design a parking lot and drive-thru that will accommodate the insane amount of visitors that they see on a daily basis but it is not enough. Today, while allowing customers (who had already received their food) to exit the drive-thru (as the sign explicitly states) two vehicles cut in front of myself and the line of cars that were literally stuck in the street waiting to enter the drive-thru. While looking one of these individuals directly in the eye, she rolls her passenger window down (as the employee was attempting to take their order,) and says "do you have a problem?" I said "yes, you and the person ahead of you cut this entire line of cars." She begins yelling "GET OVER IT, GET OVER IT!" While rolling her window back up. I have come to expect this type of behavior after living in Montgomery as long as I have. However, I did not expect the Chick-fil-A employee to begin laughing at the situation and continue to service someone who had disrupted the flow of their already overcrowded drive-thru. I normal receive wonderful service at this establishment and visit this location often as it it .7 miles from my home and 1 mile from my office. However, after my experience today, I will never return to this location, regardless of...
