Steaks & Wine is a very expensive grade A+, top - of - the - line fresh cut beef (the tenderloin beef filet melts in your mouth literally) the freshest, largest seafood, pork, ribs, beef, all meat. They will cut it for you.. and cook it for you, but b ready to pay $25lb for the Ribeye and $34+for the bacon wrapped beef filet Mignon. Get it seasoned. Don't use Dale's or any marinade. You don't need it. Look in the coolers for all the sides. The 2X baked potatoes are enormous, but ready to bake. Try their green bean casserole or squash or Brunswick Stew, or gumbo, or a small chicken divan for two or a large that feeds 6 or more. Grab some frozen rolls or find a fresh bread. They have a great pimento onion jelly dip. It's so different. Or any fresh made salads or chicken, West Indies, ceasear.. Huge pig ears fried fresh with all seasonings to choose, specialty canned jellies, sauces, spices, the BEST cheese straws, I love those, gifts, and finally a very well stocked super high - end wine choice. Lots of wine. And specialty beer. They cater and call ahead if you want a burger cooked, or the best rare beef tenderloin I've ever tasted. They do a wonderful job. It's worth every penny. Plus, they are so nice. They will accommodate you, or try to. I gave it a 4 only because the last few frozen casseroles I've bought were dry and a few salads weren't great. But that's very rare. It is small and not really equipped to handle a wheelchair. Lots of breakable items. I don't know about a restroom. But...

Deserts, entrees that u can just run in & grab without seeing butcher. They'll cut your steak like u want as you watch them. Place is always very neat, tidy, organized * and clean. ❗You MUST get their Twice Baked Potato❗I will idrive across town to just get them. There's a menu that you can call your own in & they'll have cooked , ready to eat or take home. They cook on the BIG Grill & everything they grill is DeLicious 🤗 Valentine's is a HUGE time for them. You better order early. They'll have a package deal usually with heart ssteak, chocolate covered strawberries, salad, potato & wine... I think shrimp salad / lobster tail were some added selections. They staff are extremely knowledgeable about meats, wine advice, how to cook/serve it & dips to make etc. They are patient, kind & make you feel like they really do... appreciate your business. Read moreThe takeaway restaurant is an initially off-putting concept, but there's a certain appeal to picking out your piece of beef from the counter and sending it away to immediately be cooked. In my case, it was a burger, and while there were some flaws that even dedicated burger-makers make - the bun wasn't toasted very well and the bacon was cheap - but you couldn't argue with the quality of the meat, and the crust which resulted from the excellent sear of the grill resulted in a dang tasty burger. It also proved their worth for handling one of their $27 porterhouse steaks.
They make other things, too, like homemade soups, casseroles, and even pork cracklins, the latter of which made for a pretty nice side to the burger.
They have a concentrated selection of wine and beer. I can't speak to the wine, but the limited inventory of bombers was nicely curated, and tended to run at least a few bucks cheaper than Filet and Vine, which in hindsight would probably serve as a better name for this place.
