Ruthie Grace — Local services in Montgomery

I bought a couple of pieces from Ruthie Grace and none was as expected, a dress with sleeves too large and a sweater that was frayed almost with a hole. I could only return the dress because I did not wear it, but the sweater not because I used it once and did not notice the defect until I left home. My bad! Buying online is a lottery, I've been doing it for years but from stores that I know it’s quality, colors and sizes. I like Ruthie Grace's designs, and that's why I decided to give it a try!!! As I was given store credit for the dress I returned, I decided to buy a couple of shirts. One is very beautiful and similar to what I saw online. The other also beautiful but the fabric and the color are totally different from what is seen in the picture. In general, clothes are expensive, especially when you have to add the shipping, so in order to give your customers a better idea of the condition, color, sizes etc. you should have every piece reviewed. I wrote a review of the sweater but for some reason that review is not published. It would be very useful to publish all reviews, regardless of whether they are good or bad, this helps a lot to decide. Encourage your customers to do so, offer them something in return, maybe discounts or free shipping. And hopefully soon you can have a show room where we can appreciate the qualities, colors and sizes....

I first got introduced to this place when I lived in Houston and grandmother lived in Montgomery. I moved away to the other side of Texas, (Midland) but found them on Instagram and have fallen in love with not just the clothes but the positivity that Tara, (the owner) and the rest of the team has. They all love Jesus and fashion and most importantly; they are all moms (for the most part) who get the mom life. So the fashion is at an ultimate convenience of wether you're a mom who doesn't have much time to get cute but still wants to look adorable. Wether you're a nursing mom, or even a mom carrying in the womb. Or maybe you're just a girl who wants to look and feel beautiful... they have it all! Another thing that I love is that the put their outfits all together styled or tell you what you could wear with each item. I know you're probably thinking what store doesn't... But if you think about it, most places just model one piece of an outfit. So if you are someone like me who doesn't have the time to shop around or doesn't know how to style things a certain way that you wish you did... They have your back! Proud to...

I was really looking forward to shopping at Ruthie Grace; however, I was disappointed. Online, there are several items not displayed in the store and we were greeted then were treated as if we didn’t matter. We took a shoe from the shelf, stood in front of the counter where I can only assume this person was a manager or owner. She was standing behind the counter on her phone, as we stood directly in front her waiting to be acknowledged to get a size in the shoe. We then walked away and turned to look for another associate. The associate was helping another customer walked towards us with a blank stare and walked away. It is 100% okay to be helping someone, but saying “give me just a second” or “hang on I’ll get __ to help you” let’s customers know they’re acknowledged. I put the shoe back because I won’t spend money there. I can’t help but think it was the way we were dressed, because every other customer was “dressed up.” Which is comical, guess I’ll be spending my money back at my usual stores, Nordstrom and Chanel.
