Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen — Restaurant in Montgomery

This was my first time at this location and will be the last. I went through the drive through worker refused to give me a receipt. I ordered a 12 piece family meal.. I was parked along with several others, was told it would be a 10/15 min wait. After 20 mins I noticed people having to go in and request their order. At 30 mins I went in and asked about my order and the man laughed and said it just came up. I still had to wait several minutes for him to box the chicken this was a manger might I might add and then he says its a 3 mins wait for fries.. i said I would take something else.. he walks away and is dealing with his employee who is yelling about fighting someone to another manager. Comes back still has not given me my food and took someone else’s order at the counter. This is absolutely ridiculous as I've been here now 40 mins waiting on food so I interrupted the order and said Im sorry im not sure what im still waiting when i was willing to take a side that was ready. He said ok what would you like, i said anything thats ready so I can leave. He them goes and gets the fry basket and throws it on the line then boxes up my food. Picked up a dinner for 4 tonight at7:30pm (09/24/25) and it was awful and wrong. Rice was hard in the red beans, fries were old and cold. Chicken not fresh and the two jokes each had about 5-6 cubes of ice and the tea was no ice and also was not sweet. Drinks weren't marked as to what was what and we got 1 utensil to eat with. We eat here once a week and have picked up orders many times on top of that to go, but tonight, it was the first time I've said, I won't return. And I will share my experience. There wasn't a soul in that restaurant and I only saw once car in the drive thru. I can't imagine why we were sent home with 30$ of food that looked and tasted as it did. And why wont you read the drink orders? The drink mistakes are a regular occurrence!...

Don’t do a mobile order here. We waited almost 30 minutes for our food. They are always so slow. We placed our order ahead of time, there were only 2 cars in the drive through and we had to pull around to the front. We waited 15 minutes, circled back around, waited 5 more minutes in drive through. Order is never fully accurate either. They forgot my fries, then argued with each other about if I ordered fries or not. I handed her my receipt and they finally agreed to make them. I then had to wait an additional 10 minutes. They were so rude and there was an employee screaming and cursing where everyone could hear him. This has happened at least 5 times in the past and we haven’t been in a while because of it.
