Cato Fashions — Local services in Montgomery

I went to get a fascinator and it was priced at 14.99 but rang up for 19.99. The person ringing me up asked the manager on duty about changing the price and that person literally refused to do it and said it’s a corporate thing. When I asked for the corporate number she gave me the number to telecheck and stated it’s the only number they have. I’ve worked as a retail manager for over 20 years and I’ve never heard of such, nor not being able to override a price that wasn’t properly changed on a tag. I asked for a DM number and was told to just call the store back tomorrow. I’m thinking about returning everything I purchased...

I go to Cato Ann St store in Montgomery instead of the store closest to my home in Prattville. The staff is so user friendly and helpful at Ann St. I used to walk in the Prattville store and feel like I was being watched as if I came to steal. I got really tired of it and hadn't been to the Prattville store in years. If the Ann St store had not been so much better than the Prattville store I would have given up on Cato all together. I'm glad I didn't because I love Cato fashions. However, again, I haven't been to the Prattville store in couple of years or so. Maybe there is new management...
