In reference to Justin, the so-called General Manager of this location, he is rude, discriminatory, and argumentative, but as far as I can tell that’s really only if you are a female. I walked in, I saw him, and he saw me and said not a word to me. I then listened as he greeted every male customer that walked in after me. As I shopped (with no offer of assistance from him)I wanted to ask about trying the pants on, so when he came back from offering to assist the male guests, I asked where the fitting room was and he pointed and said “first door on the right” and continued sorting bags at the counter. After going in and out of the changing room which by the way has no lock on it, I placed the pants I intended to buy on the end of the counter so I could look for some shirts. I turned to look at the shirts and I had a question so I turned to ask him. Before I could even ask, he pointed to my intended purchases and said “Are you done?” At that point I said “Oh, so you can see me!” He did not reply to this at all so I decided maybe I would just pay for what I had picked out and leave. I was compelled to ask why he didn’t acknowledge me at all but spoke only to the male customers. He said “I did” and I said “no, you did not”. He replied “yes I did, I told you where the changing room was”. I said “yes you did, but only after I asked you”. His only response was “ok”. I said “you know, our money is just as good as men’s money, right?”. This earned me another condescending “ok”. Just wow. If I would have had the luxury of time on my side, I would have gone ANYWHERE else or ordered online after that kind of treatment. I paid and walked out without so much as a “Thank you” since I just dropped over 300.00 in his store. As I walked to my car, I was apparently visibly angry because I was stopped by an employee on his way in to work. He said I looked very upset and asked if I was ok. I told him I wasn’t upset, I was furious. I related what happened and he very kindly listened to the whole story and apologized for what happened to me. He recommended I write a google review and contact corporate, which I have done. I thanked him for listening to me and for the advice and I said if I ever choose to come into that store again, it would be because of him. 5.11, if you read this, you have a serious problem at that location and I don’t believe this GM represents your culture accurately, but while he is there, representing your culture is exactly what he’s doing,...
Read moreIt's a quiet little place right off the frontage road. They let you shop rather leisurely here but will answer questions if you have them. I was here on 4/10 for a new pair of boots. I had been in here on an earlier occasion to scope out the pricing and knew what I wanted ahead of time so I can't speak too much for customer service because I don't want to over sell the experience. But on cash out, the lady that was working the store front was prompt and polite while completing my purchase. 10/10 will be back to do more shopping here as I'm already aware of the quality of clothing they sell at 5.11 and am willing to throw down the money for what it's worth. 10/10 would recommend this store as well as it was recommended to me by someone...
Read moreI have been in this store many times and every time I go in I get a courteous greeting from all the team members. It was a very clean store and the fitting rooms were clean as well. Despite what you read from the 1 star lady, the fitting rooms do in fact have locks. It sounds like 1 star has some personal vendetta and decided to blast Google with it. I have seen the GM greet and assist both male a female equally so not sure what that was all about. This store has lots of cool things and I would definitely recommend the DEFENDER-FLEX jeans. These jeans are awesome. I have to carry 2 phones for work and a set of keys so these extra pockets on the back are SWEET! Will be back...
