We have always used Gregory’s for all of our 4 kids sporting needs. We have gotten bats, catchers gear, gloves, cleats- every new season- you name it! This year we decided to have them do our baseball teams uniforms and hats. We ordered 30 snapback hats for both the players and parents. The hats came in and unfortunately they were all Velcro and they offered to either sell them to us at a cheaper price or re-order but it would take another six weeks to come. We decided to re-order since that’s what the whole team wanted to do, and then I had to pay out-of-pocket for at least the players hats so they would have one for tournaments. Once the new shipment came in, I was called to be made aware that they were there. I asked what we owed on the order and if it was possible to receive a discount on the hats since the mess up was on their end, and cost us another six weeks and we only have two tournaments left for the fall season.
Apparently, this set Mr. Gregory himself off- who then told me that the Velcro hats weren’t messed up, and I should have just paid the lower price to keep those because I cost him more by ordering again even though it was their mistake and how dare I ask for a discount when he’s out money- he then proceeded to scream at me that he doesn’t care if he loses my business or anyone on our team business and then hung up on me.
I would have paid for the hats, and although I might have been a little annoyed that he did not give us a discount for his mistake,, I would have paid for them regardless if he knew how to act like a grown-up whenever having a conversation with someone who he is not a agreeing with. Read moreAbsolutely Horrible! Never in my life will I go to them. First off, I had to chase them the whole time. Never once did they call me for an update. Second, I made an order for team jersey's that they said would come in within 3 weeks, sometimes shipping is quicker. Called the week before they were due to come in, Joe stated that they haven't shipped yet, but still ship pretty quickly and that he would let me know if they came in early. Expressed again that I wouldn't have them for the first game, but I would have them for the second game so I thanked him and hung up. Finally, I called the weekend before I was supposed to receive my order and they told me it was due to ship on September 5th, I questioned and told them no. They tried to blame it on someone else and said someone called last week and they were made aware of the due date. I said not true, I called last week and spoke to Joe and emphasis August 31st, never was told later. He said I'll patch you over to Joe. Joe tried to snowball me and say I was aware of it, to which I replied no I was not Joe. You stated that I would have them by the 31st. Now they are backtracking, stuttering, and trying to find a lie to get out of this mess. I told him if I was told this I would have never used your company. My season ends the last day of September. Read moreI would highly recommend using Inklahoma or another vendor for custom/monogrammed uniforms. I ordered hats for our ball team, specified that I wanted a certain brand/model that I know fits well. After waiting 3-4 weeks for the hats, I realized they weren't the hats I requested/ordered. I was told by whoever handles the uniforms that I could either return them and wait another 6 weeks or keep them as is. Apparently, the issue was that the model of hat I originally requested was on backorder. I understand you can't control that, but I definitely would've expected a phone call at the onset mentioning the backorder situation and asking if I were okay with this other hat they decided to choose (there are other models I would've chosen). A phone call is something within your control and could have prevented an inconvenience. Moreso, they invoiced me for the original hats I requested, never said a word about it. I had to call to ask what happened to the original hat I ordered. Feels a bit dishonest, and, ultimately, I didn't get what I paid for. I hate to leave a bad review, but given their lack of care/willingness to try and make it right, this will suffice. Call your customer before doing a bait and switch, especially when there is a decent lead time involved. You would expect a waiter to bring the food you ordered, not something similar. You would expect them to tell you that menu item is not currently available, not bring something similar out and not say a word about it, and make it feel as if hopefully you won't notice.
