First incident ever at this park. So I am the Grandmother with 2 Grandsons, a Father with 2 children, a couple with 3 kids, and 1 couple leaving as we came in. A young male, let's say 18 to 24ish, was smoking in the park (my bad, he was vaping), same darn thing, had on headphones singing the lyrics (with curse words) out loud. I ask him to observe the rules of the park and mind his manners around the kids. Blah, blah...it continues, I am wondering why this behavior doesn't seem to bother anyone else when one of the parents (a father) stated that when he got there (30 mins. ago), the young man had his shirt off and was on the tire swing talking incoherently (his words). By the way, this was a good day for a jacket. Moore PD was called, by me, because he was apparently on something. 3 cars came, they spoke with him and released him back into the park. I took the lead on leaving, the rest of the parents followed. Clearly not the type of environment you would expect in Moore. I for one, will not return to...
Read moreNice park when not overly packed you have to park across the street which there is no crosswalk. The city recently moved equipment on the Eastside of park ( the old fire station which is sore to the eyes. This area could be used for additional parking, and Covered shelters, and play areas. I pray this is temporary. This location is behind homes of families living in the area. No other park in Moore has city equipment everywhere They could put up a Solid fence to hide equipment. Park is maintained well city needs to do trash can pick up, and maintained Restroom at least twice daily at this park since it's a high...

There is a path going all the way around the park area if you want to get your steps in. There's a basketball court, a playground, bathrooms, and the picnic area has these trash bins specifically for pizza boxes. It wasn't...
