To be clear, if this rating was for our salesperson Jeff, I would rate it a 5. If it was for the furniture (it’s too early to give it a true rating), at this point in time I would rate it a 5. I gave the total experience a 3 because I was disappointed in the manager and the purchase itself. We had a problem with our family room couch (part of sectional) and needed to replace it. Because my wife is recovering from a medical condition and finances are a little tight, we had hoped to find something that might match our other furniture to keep costs down. We bought a couch and recliner and hoped they would match the other piece of furniture still in the room. They had a promotion at the time that any purchase over a certain amount they would discount the equivalent sales tax amount. When the furniture was delivered, we realized quickly that it wasn’t going to work. On the first business day after delivery we returned to buy the matching loveseat. My complaint was that the manager refused to include the promotion discount (the promotion was still valid) because the individual piece (wouldn’t include it as part of the previous deal)did not meet the price point. It added around $70 to the cost of the set. Considering I paid $60 twice for delivery (as I should have), I’m disappointed that the manager held to a technicality and ultimately disappointed the customer experience and jeopardized our future business. It makes me wonder if we have any issues with the furniture during the warranty period that technicalities are their true business model, not doing what is right. I will seriously consider future business relationships with them and that’s a shame because I prefer to use smaller local businesses when I can. Read moreI bought a queen mattress from here and set up a delivery. It would of been delivered on time but I needed to go ahead and return it due to the original need changing. I paid cash for this transaction, their return policy states they will issue a check within 7 business days. I canceled the delivery on a Wednesday and the following Thursday I went back to the store. The store manager was rude. Told me I was not to include Sunday as a business day when I clearly wasn't. He tried kicking me out of the store without even giving me a corporate number to call saying he really can't do anything. He has no access to accounts nor could he give me my cash back. I finally got a number for accounting where Rachel said she issued a return check and if it didn't show up the next day that I could come get a money order or a personal check from her. Next day no check and I was ALLOWED to pick it up a money order from the parking lot since they didn't want me back in the store because I got upset with their manager basically calling me stupid when he was wrong. They defended him. Saying he was having a bad day. Still to this day a check never showed in the mail. Rachel believes a personal check is the same as cash. It's the same thing she said. Read moreEdit/Update: I am increasing my review, as when we called to complain about our issue, the manager David was so helpful to me and fiance even offering to deliver the table himself and refunding our delivery fee due to the mistake of losing our paperwork (which the salesman was at fault for not management or anyone else). I appreciated their honesty in admitting their mistake and ability to work with us to get our item. Thank you David for doing everything in your power to correct the mistake and being so flexible with our schedule and to the owner who took it upon himself to inquire on my review so that I could get this resolved.
We ordered a Dining room table here and paid delivery along with a weekend delivery fee, with the full price of the set. We were scheduled to have it delivered Saturday between a 5 hour time frame. We waited at our new home ALL DAY and no call, no table, we STILL have not received our item; are you kidding me? Needless to say we are not happy and we will be having a not so kind word about this with management. When we pay for something, we expect it to be done no exceptions.
