I am a user and instructor of the station. I was told that the station was going to be renovated to make more space. I was very happy that the group exercise room would be moved to a new location with more space. However, the new room was very disappointing. It did not have anything we needed to exercise. Other than equipment, ceiling fans are absolutely necessary for a workout that will make you sweat. Currently, there are only two portable fans, which is not enough for about 30 people. Also, portable speakers are in the way and often lose connection. And mirrors. I have heard about movable mirrors. This is dangerous. I would have liked a stage so that the instructor could be seen well. I wish everyone's opinions had been heard when planning the...
Read moreMoore's "Central Park" has been there for a while, but despite living in Moore for some time, this was my first visit to the park. It's all brand-new and very impressive, but two negatives stand out: 1) the Multi-Purpose Pavilion has no tables, none at all; I suppose it's intended for commercial use only, and not really intended (as I had hoped) for renting the space for family get-togethers; and 2) the music at the pool is simply W A Y T O O L O U D. It can easily be heard more than a half mile away. I suppose some kids like to jam out to what they're playing, but not the entire neighborhood.
Other than that, it's rather odd that the City of Moore chose to locate the buildings directly on top of the path of the 2013...

An entire group of people were told we could NOT record an adult men’s league game even if we got permission from everyone. Also keep in mind they have no policy posted in the building nor on their website as of 4-4-2024 regarding video or photography usage. The only policy they do have is on a paper the manager brought over to us after 5 games that were previously recorded. IF there is a policy prohibiting video/photography it was not brought to our awareness until 5 weeks after visiting the facility weekly. So don’t expect to take photo or video of loved ones without direct permission form the facility, or you’ll be a bit harassed by the...
