Jerry's Neighborhood Store — Local services in Morganton

I did not make it to to Credit Union on time Friday, and another store told me you could cash my check that I had written by my Mother to me for $100.00 . Your wonderful clerk said she didn't have the authority to cash the check as she was only n doing her job properly! ! That check was the only money I had being famished! The clerk an I had a nice visit for it was 8:15 when I arrived and she told me you/owner would be back at about 9:45pm. I took a ride to kill the time, but you were late!! I luckily had $8.00 on my ATM card to buy $7.58 worth h of snacks and a 2 liter Coke!! Actually the exceptionally kind clerk should have had the authorization to cash my check since you said owner were not there which put her on on the spot!! She's an exemplar employee and I wish I would have caught her name☆☆☆☆♡♡♡♡!! In closing I personally will not ever frequent your store again. God bless you and may you learn from this most unfortunate instace☆♡☆♡♤♤♤♤♤♤.

I love this store and consider it the best location in Morganton for convenience and having a good selection of products. They have more groceries than your typical convenience store which is a Godsend for the community considering so many people walk or ride transit. The lady that manages the store is one of the nicest people I have ever met and she genuinely cares for her customers and the community in Morganton. She always brightens my day when she is working and makes sure that I am doing ok. Her husband and their employees are also very kind to me and know all of their regular customers well which makes you feel like family. I consider Jerrys to...
