Jos A. Bank — Local services in Morgantown

Excellent store. After reading some of the negative reviews, I felt it was merited to leave a proper review. 5 stars for the store, 1 star for reviewers that don't seem to understand how shopping, renting, or ordering and shipping work, especially with shortages that the store has no control over.

My wife and I went in our work clothes, which would normally get us funny looks and/or ignored in a fine store. (In our off time, we do volunteer work that we dress nicely for) Not so here, very friendly and helpful.

I've been in many stores that sell formal/fine men's clothing within 100 miles. I'm average size, and I like a classic tailored fit, yet this seems to be the most understocked category in every store. Generally I see an overabundance of big and tall, as well as skinny suits, and very little in between. Despite various supply shortages that are going on, this store still seemed to have a nice balance of size selection, showing that they understand their inventory and customer base. The lady that helped my wife and I was attentive without being intrusive, and when it came time for fitting and alterations, she clearly understood this as well. The best men's clothing store since Burton's in Cumberland closed their doors years ago,...

This is by far the best men’s suit/clothing store I have been in, and the best Jos. A. Bank branch that I’ve shopped at.

I came in to the store hoping to get tailored and purchase a brand new suit. Unfortunately it was for a funeral of a good friend back home in Pittsburgh, so I needed the alterations done relatively quickly (which is a bad move on my part, always get a tailor 7-14 days to get it altered). However, the gentlemen at this location had the alterations completed within 2 days after explaining my situation. For that, this branch already earned my loyalty and 5 stars.

Another reason why this branch deserves the 5 stars is the mannerism and professionalism of the staff. I was personally helped by Christopher. The way he spoke to me by calling me “sir” and his knowledge of the different suits made me feel very confident that he wouldn’t try to bait and switch me (which is what A LOT of men’s suit stores do). Thank you Christopher and the rest of the staff...

NEVER AGAIN! Been renting tuxes and purchasing suits from Jo.A Bank for 7 years now, and have always had good service. My youngest sons senior prom comes up...We order in plenty of time. Called repeatedly for arrival time as it was getting close, comes in 2 days bfor prom. Pants were 6" or more too short, shirt was huge, tie was too tight with no more length to adjust, and broken buttons on shirt(was told his vest and tie will cover it🙄)and he was measured for all this?? They offered no solution,other than letting the pants down, so we ended up adjusting and trying to keep things in place all evening. Smh Come to find out ours wasn't the only tux fitting messed up...my sons 2 best friends he recommend to go there all had the exact same issues. Obviously the young lady measuring did not do her job,to mess those all up, and who knows how many more that we're unaware of. Waste of my sons money that he worked so hard for to pay...
