The two (2) star rating is given due to my overall experience at their Suncrest Center, Morgantown location on 04 Oct, 2019 and not indicative of my previous experiences at other Primanti Bros. locations. I arrived right at 2:50 p.m. and it took a few minutes before I was seated, then a couple more before my server, Tessa, came to the table. Now "Happy Hour" begins at 3:00 p.m. and although I didn't look at the time exactly as I ordered a beverage, I guarantee that it was no more than two (2) or three (3) minutes til "Happy Hour" beginning. Now I'd think that a person that is working for tips would either wait that couple of minutes to enter the beverage order into the system, or go ahead and enter it at the "Happy Hour" price since the time was that close, but not Tessa! She enters the beverage and I'm charged full price for it. But here's a news flash for you Tessa ... I simply deducted the full price of the beverage from your tip! Thanks for the draft! In addition to the beverage fubar, I ordered the 'Traditional Italian Hoagie' & 'Terror Tots'. The 'Terror Tots' were great, but it'd be difficult to screw up putting cheese, sriracha sauce, & jalapeno peppers on tator tots, right? But the Italian hoagie was a different story. I've never had an Italian sub/hoagie that was bland before Friday. This sandwich was not at the level you'd expect from Primanti Bros., it was more of a pre made convenience store level. It was dry, even though it was supposed to be topped with a "zesty Italian vinaigrette" and although it was toasted, the middle was definitely not, tasted like a cold-cut sandwich. The appearance is deceptive because it looks really good, but the toasted crostini was the only tasty part of the sandwich. Send your kitchen staff to 'Firehouse Subs' and get their Italian Sub fully involved, now that's what an Italian Sub should taste like and where I'll be getting mine...

WV 02-2024 Tony & I went to Primanti Brothers in Morgantown for lunch last Sunday. It's one of Tony's favorite places to go when we are in Morgantown.
They were having a terrific special for only $20 2 entrees and one appetizer to share from a pre-chosen list. I chose the Grilled Chicken Spinach Sandwich w Fries & Tony went with Primanti Original Grilled Burger with Slaw (grilled cabbage & onions) with sauce & cheese with fries on the sandwich. We chose the Bacon Ranch Fries to share, he had a large Budweiser Draft & I had unsweetened tea With Lemon and lime.
Food was good! Service was okay, waitress was tired & didn't want to be there. I hate when this happens! I feel it in the service and it upsets me.
2023 Tony and I have been wanting to try out Primanti Brothers for awhile. It has been recommended by several people, so it was something that interested us We were seated & greeted immediately to a roomy comfy booth. Tony ordered Budweiser Light Large draft and I went with Iced Tea Half-Half and Lemon and Lime...my favorite since off soda
Tony wanted the PB Rueben and I have to admit I'm not really big on ruebens in general but when his arrived I had to still half. But, I gave him half of my Italian Big Don Sandwich Both were amazing YES AMAZING is an understatement. I joined rewards and they sent me a $5 off coupon for next visit.... can't wait!! Highly recommend guys...Primanti Brothers started in 1933 in Pittsburgh..... Thank You Boys...
Read moreI have in general had great experiences here but recently I went with a group of friends and in addition to having to wait about an hour for our food my ID was lost. The restaurant was not busy but we could see that food was coming out slowly. I just chalked it up to a one off issue like them being short-staffed in the kitchen or another similar problem. The real issue comes in when I noticed that our server took my drink order and brought it back but neglected to immediately bring back my ID. I admit I should have said something right there but I thought he would end up bringing it back eventually. Fast forward a few days and as I am getting carded at another establishment I realize I do not have my ID. I don't like laying blame when it isn't due so I checked multiple times anyplace I could have lost it myself. The only thing I can find is the receipt still in my wallet from that day. I find it unlikely that I would keep the receipt but misplace my ID somewhere else. All in all, it has been a bad experience. In addition to slow service that day, I now have to take half a day off of work to go to the DMV and pay for another ID. This isn't a slight against the management I dealt with there. They were very kind and understanding when both my girlfriend and I asked on separate occasions if they had found anything. I just wish there had been an emphasis on making sure it was returned to me right after the...
