Okay. I wasn't in any rush to come to The GOAT. I like the idea of some of its proceeds going back to the student-athletes.
I think it's a bit of a gimmick, personally, but I digress.
My wife sent me a post that they had all you can eat tacos on Tuesdays for $10.
I'll preface this by saying that's a great value in 2025.
I was curious to see what they changed from when it was Cosmo.
Absolutely nothing.
The screens are bigger. But they've left hardly any room to walk around the tables. Two guys mistakenly cut me off while I was walking to my table and they were just trying to get to the outside patio.
We ordered the Fry Heaven and upgraded to the truffle butter and parmesan herb toss. They were good and crispy with a nice truffle flavor.
The tacos left something to be desired.
They had 3 kinds: pulled pork, beef, and chicken. The server (who was awesome) said they were smaller, which is to be expected with all you can eat. Toppings included onion, tomato, lettuce, salsa, and sour cream.
The pulled pork was delicious. My only gripe was it was almost too good for tacos? It was barbecue pulled pork and I feel like it would be better suited on a sandwich. The best one by far.
I liked the chicken the best. It could have used more seasoning, but again, all you can eat means you have to satisfy most of the pallettes eating the food.
The beef was the most disappointing. It tasted as if the bare minimum was done to it to give it taco meat flavor and then left in warm grease to keep it from hardening. It wasn't gross but it wasn't quality. It was fine.
Although I didn't order anything other than the appetizer and the tacos, the menu is huge. I guess compared to Kegler's or Sports Page or BW3s, it really isn't when it comes to variety. But I was hoping a second reiteration of an already failed venture would learn from it's mistakes and pare it down. Regardless of my opinion, you can get your bangers and mash here.
Again, I think the NIL concept of The GOAT is cool. However, I feel like we've seen this restaurant before and we know how it'll end up.
The $10 tag for all you can eat tacos is a steal nowadays. But I don't plan on visiting The GOAT again. I wish them the best in their...
Read moreI had heard plenty about The GOAT but hadn't had a chance to try it until recently. I really did enjoy the experience. To start with the service was top notch. Our server was on top of things and kept our soft drinks topped up.
The food was also really good. It seems like they do try to get some items locally as the bread for my cheesesteak was described as coming from a local bakery. The cheesesteak was really good with lots of steak. The bread was fairly hearty and was one of those good crusty breads that has just the right amount of crunch when you bite in. My only suggestion is that they might need some kind of sauce or more cheese on the cheesesteak that adds some moisture to the sandwich. It was really good just a touch dry.
I upgraded my sandwich to get the pubfries instead of chips. These fries are really good. The seasoning is flavorful and they had just the right amount of crunch. Its totally worth the slight upcharge to get the fries.
I will certainly be visiting again in the future. I'd like to try their wings and some of the other specials. It seems like Tuesday night is a taco night which I think could be very...

I went all in on the Couch Burner burger, and boy, it did not disappoint. This burger was a masterpiece - a towering stack of juicy beef, crispy bacon, melted pepper jack cheese, and just the right amount of kick from the jalapeños and chipotle aioli. Every bite was an explosion of flavor. It was so big I could barely finish it, but I enjoyed every single bite. To wash it down, I had a few of their Old Fashioneds. The first one was a bit on the sweet side for my taste, but the next two were absolutely perfect - the flavors balanced out beautifully as the ice melted. They were the perfect complement to the bold flavors of the burger.
If you're looking for a truly epic burger experience in Morgantown, The GOAT is the...
