Local Lounge — Local services in Mount Holly Township

Best. Lounge. Ever. Located inside The Local restaurant in Mt. Holly, behind the sliding brick wall, you feel as if you’re stepping inside a secret hideaway. The leather furniture and jazz tunes harken back to the days of speakeasies. The Lounge is so warm and welcoming - everyone is so friendly and relaxed. When visiting we on Saturday after dinner, we spoke with several people (strangers are friends you haven’t met yet!) who gave cocktail suggestions for this novice. I couldn’t decide, so I asked Anders, the resident mixologist, to make something for me. Not too sweet, please! Oh my goodness!! He concocted a honey collins with real honeycomb! It was so delicious! The Local Whiskey Bar/Lounge is second to none. Anders is a craftsman when it come to bartending. He is a master mixologist who not only crafts your drinks, he takes the time to prep all the mixes and additives by hand. If he can make it and not buy it, he will do so. After only a few stops at the Local, my wife and I decided to join their locker club. Being a member has its advantages but the best is all of the people we have become friends with. Anders, other Locker members, staff, and owners are all good people. We’ve even met some podcasters who, for some reason, like to hang out with us.
