Celebrated my friends' birthdays today at Your Cup of Tea. The staff was sooo friendly, and service was quick. Upon arrival, they lend you hats and dainty gloves to wear, which made the experience much more fun. For men, they have top hats. It wasn't crowded when we went, but be sure to make a reservation to guarantee seating anyway. We found parking right in front of it, but I believe that they have their own parking lot in the back (not sure). Not a big place, but it has nice atmosphere for afternoon tea. They offer a great selection of sandwiches (you get to select 4 as part of the afternoon tea package), scones (select 2), desserts (assorted), and, of course, tea (Twinings teabags). Everything was delicious. They sang "Happy Birthday" to my friends with cupcakes and candles to blow. They have a small area in the back for young kids to have tea, complete with a wall of small hats for them to wear. The price for afternoon tea was reasonable at $29 per person, compared to elsewhere where you can easily pay upwards of $70. We'll definitely be going back.

I had the privilege of visiting Your Cup of Tea today to surprise my 9 year old daughter with a "daddy daughter date". Neither of us had done this type of thing before, so we weren't sure what to expect. Sue and the young lady helping her made for a wonderful experience all around. The tea was delicious and may varieties, as were the sandwiches, scones, fruit and desserts. My daughter was given fancy gloves and a hat and I was given a top hat and bowtie to use for our fancy picture by the seasonally decorated Christmas tree. I can't thank you enough for providing a great memory making opportunity for us. Keep up the great work!

Always on the search for an afternoon tea place and I think I found my favorite one. Sue and her helper (I’m so sorry I forgot your name) were wonderful hostesses and made sure my group was well accommodated. It’s a very unique place as all the tea sets are different and gives each table a unique personality. There were hats and gloves available to wear that elevated the experience as a whole. I enjoyed the variety of scones and sandwiches to pick from instead of your standard menu you would usually get elsewhere. The price was reasonable for a table of 4. I had an amazing time and will definitely come back for more!

So my sister absolutely called and she also left messages which were unanswered. We tried to bring our mother for a special treat as she had been dying to check it out. After rechecking the website for times we headed over. No where on the web or even out front was there any indication of a private party. We attempted to enter my mother, sister, and myself(please note the entrance is extremely small) but were met by 3 women who asked if we were attending shower so were unable to progress further when we said no. At which point my sister explained she had tried to call and was told she needed to ā€œcall on the weekends when they are openā€ or to ā€œleave a messageā€ which we tried. Then she very rudely said with a sighā€ can you just let these others inā€ like lady the people behind us could get in if you weren’t blocking the way. How very rude of you my mother who is 78 was actually already out of the ladies way ma’am you were the problem how very disappointing. So basically you don’t answer phones or messages you are not even polite when you are wrong and no one even said ā€œI’m sorryā€ kiss my a## or anything else. Thanks for that really great customer service. We try to support small business and can absolutely understand people learning the ropes and ironing out problems in the beginning but to not even have common courtesy is disgusting. At the very least someone could have said why don’t we get u set up for a reservation but no basically just get out way to go thanks for disappointing my favorite lady now she will never get to go. I will be sure to let my friends and coworkers not to waste their time or money *only gave that one star so I could post you don’t deserve it fyi

  • Wow your response is equally rude so either you were in fact one of the ladies at the door or they have been paying great attention to their boss. Nice work. And again not even an ā€œI’m sorryā€ or ā€œhow can we fix this misunderstanding?ā€ Like I said not even having common courtesy is disgusting as are...

I was really excited to try Your Cup of Tea! I reserved a table for me and my mom the Saturday before Mother’s Day. The tea selections were great, as were their tea sandwiches and scones. I will say, I felt pretty rushed, what was supposed to be an about and a half long tea party for me and my mom only took about 45 minutes. The owner was really involved as well, to the point of reading out loud the bill for the services. 😬 I really just wanted it to be a nice little surprise for my mom, and I had planned the rest of the day around this party, and was a bit surprised by how rushed I felt, to how the bill was delivered. It made me feel mistrusted as if they had assumed I would dine and dash? I’m sure that’s not the case, but it’s how I felt. Overall tea party was nice, except for the above mentioned things. I know they’ve been here for about a year, so I’m sure as time moves on things...
