The Succulent Hippie — Local services in Mount Joy Township

My husband bought me a mini rose (NOT purchased from The Succulent Hippie) for Mother's day this year. After about a week or two, I noticed that new buds were browning and dying, leaves started to fall off, the stems were developing brown spots, and to top it all off, I found aphids residing on it. I eventually lost a whole main beam and assumed this plant was done for.

The following week, I stopped at the Succulent Hippie shop, told them about the situation, and they recommended the Enrich Powder to help it, hopefully, recover from the damage done. After treating for aphids, pruning, repotting, and adding the Enrich Powder - this mini rose is bigger and healthier than when I got it! With 2 new buds already!

I am extremely disappointed with this shop. I came in to check the place out being a plant lover. I purchased a bag of soil, could not find the price on the bag until I came out to my car then saw it was $15 for a small bag. The other items I purchased were a small 4 tablet bag of plant food for $16, a small machreme plant hanger for $20 and a small plant for $25! My total was over $80, can't tell you the actual total since I never got a receipt and had to search for the price on each. I attempted to walk right back in 2 mins after walking out to my car to return 3 out of the 4 items and was told they do not do refunds. I looked around, saw no sign, again have no receipt and nothing was ever said about sales being final. I am extremely angry and feel ripped off. I do not recommend...

We visited the store for the first time recently and it’s absolutely dreamy! The owner was so nice and helpful. We had four kids in the store and she was so patient and kind answering all their questions. It was so beautiful to watch because she took the time to answer their questions about different plants and which pot to choose, how much water it needed, etc. it really helped foster their love for plants! Of course all the plants were gorgeous too, the store is bright, cheerful, and there are even different vendor items amongst the plants! I’m planning another trip there this weekend. So excited! Can’t say enough good...
