Terrible customer service! Been trying to deal with them for almost a year. They don’t do what they say they’re going to do. Won’t return calls. Wish I never wasted my money there... Agree with the other reviewer that Percha is much better. Wished I would have bought everything from Percha instead of giving these guys a chance... extremely heartbreaking! They said that the issues were due to installation, but after 3 months of no communication after the manufactures rep came out I called. They said they were waiting for a written report from the manufacturer. Then a month later I called and after that call and subsequent emails, they finally called back in October ( 5months after the rep came). Still no report. They apologized for not getting back with me sooner. Said it was inexcusable... They said that the small dents were due to installation. I said my major concern was the fact that the boards were cracking in the center. They said that they would have an independent inspector come and take a look at the floor... But that was over four months ago and no return calls or returned emails.

You'd think that a reputable and knowledgable company would want to respond quickly if it was indeed not their problem. It's hard to value your relationship with a store if they ignore you and don't communicate. They said for months that they were waiting for a written report. Still haven't seen one... Communication is always the best option! Especially quick, timely and knowledgeable communication... For them to respond a quick, it's an installation problem... would have been nice almost a year ago...

We have had a great experience with Assmann's! In finishing our basement we were in need of direction/expertise in deciding what flooring would best suit our needs. Norm came to our home and gave us precise measurements and offered his experienced opinion on what options we should consider. We then visited Assmann's showroom where we met Brian and Gina. They were very helpful in offering ideas, suggestions, and options to consider. I had many questions/concerns, and Brian was extremely informative, thorough, and professional in his expertise and experience in dealing with similar projects as ours presented! After much consideration and help from Brian we arrived at a decision that we feel worked best for our situation! I cannot stress enough, how thorough and comfortable our experience was and how helpful the whole staff, especially Brian was in offering suggestions and options. I made arrangements to have my floors done on 28 November and paid for the job. Well it's now the 17th of January still no floor. I have called a few times asking when I could expect them , the response was somebody will call you in a couple of days, well that never happened so now I called them to inform I will be coming by tomorrow to get my money back I will go somewhere else. This is no way to run a business. I would never recommend this business to anyone.
