Friends PLEASE DISREGARD Alan Martinez's very RUDE review about his food being "moldy" it's a complete lie......he was intoxicated and being very obnoxious and disrespectful to the cashier to start out with.....i personally was there when he was a customer and I was appalled at his behavior. He was politely asked to lower his voice and speak respectfully to which he said right out loud "I'm going on your review page and I'm gonna run your name through the dirt" So I've been watching for his review to stick up for taco Boy because Alan Martinez is a liar. I grew up eating taco Boy since I was a little girl. My mother was a single mom and she worked for Bob Sr. & Bob Jr. For many years. Bob Sr. Was like family, he treated his employees and customers like one big happy familia'. The quality of food has always been superb and the friendly customer service always puts a smile on my face. I highly recommend Taco Boy to any and all who enjoy Mexican food. You simply won't find another place that even comes close to his delicious family recipes!! Thank you Taco Boy for your wonderful service and delicious food! You are appreciated!! A special shout out to Bob Jr. For keeping the Taco Boy legacy alive!!❤️👊🙏...
Read moreThe dining room saved clean and the prices aren't bad, these are the very best things that I can say about Taco Boy. I have friends that where the tostadas and the wet burritos are delicious, but everything I have had was bland and obviously microwave. One of my friends was in from out of town, former CMU grad, he really wanted to try it and so I gave it another chance... Which was a mistake... Beyond the above complaints, it wasn't busy we had to remind the two servers repeatedly about our drinks, guacamole, cheese dip, and hot sauce we had ordered at the beginning. Both of the server's looked visibly high and my friends wet burrito was lukewarm if not cold in the center.
Also, I grew up with many friends whose parents move to Michigan from Mexico and from that experience I do not consider this real authentic Mexican food.
Above all, what kills me is the use of plastic utensils and Styrofoam plates for dine-in...
Read moreI was in from out of town with my friends and neither of us were impressed. The beef had no seasoning or flavor. The chips were just nuked with shredded cheese melted on top. No cheese sauce like we expected. The salsa had a little heat, but no flavor. The bean burritos apparently had refried beans, according to a friend who had expected regular. She described it as a "bean paste" and seemed to have trouble choking it down, so it may have been too dry. The taco burger was bland. More unseasoned, flavorless meat with a little lettuce tomato. A little seasoning and sour cream on it would have gone a long way. The only good thing that we ordered was the quesadilla, which was really good. But, I wouldn't go back for one good item. Plus, they are WAY overpriced. I've had authentic Mexican food off taco trucks in my travels, that was...
