We ordered via the mobile app to prevent order issues we sometimes have ordering at the drive through. Upon arrival and waiting in the drive through (since the lobby is closed), we were informed the restaurant was out of multiple items, including the biscuits that should be with the order. When we got to the window, I asked about substitution for the missing item and the employee said he didn't know what was being done about it. He had us pull into a parking spot outside of the drive through to wait for our order. We waited an obnoxious amount of time (somewhere between 30 minutes and an hour). I got fed up and walked up to the window. The person at the window said they were closed. I told him we had ordered via the mobile app and had been waiting at least 20 minutes. He told us their system had completely crashed so they didn't have our order. He also told us he didn't know we were out there. He took a picture of the full order from our mobile app and told us they'd get it made up and out. He brought our order out and we were missing the biscuits (which they had already told us they were out of) and the entire sandwich order. He had us pull around to the other side of the building (closer to a door) and he'd get it out. The person that originally had told us to pull into the parking spot come out and told us they were completely out of sandwiches. No offer to give us the side and drink that should have been with it. I had to ask about a refund, no information was offered.
The food we did get was cooked, but not hot. We were also missing utensils (to go with the mashed potatoes and red beans and rice) and sauces (for...
Read moreI work for a larger manufacturing company in Mt Pleasant MI. We had our employee appreciation day and decided to vote on dinner. The toss up was between kfc and Popeyes..The employees were leaning towards Popeyes because of some good experiences recently. I had my doubts because of some terrible experiences in the past with Popeyes. However to satisfy the employees I gave them the benefit of my doubt. I called ahead half an hour in advance to put in a very large order. I spoke to the shift manager Piliar. She guarantee me that the food would be ready on time and that everything would be made fresh. In 25 mins I got a call from Popeyes informing me that my food was ready to be pick up. I got there and was greeted by a very professional and courteous young lady who introduced herself as Piliar. She helped me carry out my large order to the vehicle. I thanked her tremendously for such great service. We had our dinner and all my employees were very satisfied with their food. I got complimented for the great food that the manager and staff of Popeyes prepared. What a great experience we had. Thank you Popeyes for the great service… I would definitely recommend them for a second chance. They are definitely on the right track to being one of the top restaurants in...
Read moreThe food is good and they are quick to get the food out......maybe too quick. Thankfully the food is fully cooked and delicious but during my last 3 visits there I requested to have sause with the tenders I usually order.
Now I understand if they're out it happens especially how busy thwy get however three times I requested sause and three times they never put any with my meal. I understand maybe the first time since mistakes do happen however 3 times in a row is just carelessness on their part. I don't know if it's because no one is paying attention or their quick to throw the meals out but they need to take it slower and make sure everything is ready for the customer.
"Why didn't you check before leaving?" Simple I'm usually busy running errands and when I'm done I'm usually hungry, tired and just want to get the meal and go home where i can relax and then get some sleep afterwords. I shouldn't have to check my order everytime to make sure I didn't forget anything.
If they slow down a bit and make sure everything is in the order then this place would easily be 4 or maybe 5...
