Golden Churro — Local services in Mount Pleasant

Tasted ok nothing amazing, but it's nice to have something a little different. Place smelled weird because of the oil. It was clean, but it feels empty like maybe it's not finished? The kiosk right in front of the door makes it difficult to order if there is any traffic. Having menus up with pictures all over the walls would make it easier for large groups and families. The process of getting your order is SLOW. The staff moves slow and seems very confused about the process. I'm not sure when they opened but proper training and familiarity with the menu and processes might help. Don't go if your in a hurry, but if you have time to wait it's not terrible.

Also, when commenting on reviews the owner should really learn how to respond. Being negative and saying it's the customers fault is a clear indicator of poor business practices that clearly pour over into running the place. Even if it's the truth... It makes your business seem unprofessional and making things worse for you. The responses really put me on the fence as to whether to try it or not. That being said, I hope they get better, it's a fun idea and could really be a good...

This place is hit or miss since they first opened. My last experience was pretty stellar, but my most recent visit is what leads me to leave this review. It was almost 16$ for 2 churro and a "cappuccino". When I ordered, I specifically asked for the churro to only be half covered in topping, as I was sharing with my toddler and shes very picky, especially when it comes to messier snacks. Needless to say, my churros were absolutely soaked in dulce de leche. Not a dry part on it. The second thing i ordered was a cappuccino. Im not exaggerating when I say that was the worst "cappuccino" I've ever had. There was NO FOAM! It tasted stale and bitter. Im pretty sure it was either instant coffee or an Americano they added cream to. For 16$ my food was subpar, not how I ordered it, and my drink...

This place never fails to impress! Their shakes are absolutely amazing—especially the Reese’s, which is my personal favorite. The churros are always spot-on, perfectly crispy and delicious. With such a huge selection, I find myself trying something new every time, and it never disappoints. Everything is made fresh right in front of you, and the attention to detail in every product is truly remarkable. The staff is always friendly and welcoming, adding to the already fantastic atmosphere. Plus, the place is consistently spotless, making the whole experience even better....
