Firehouse Subs Central Square — Restaurant in Mount Pleasant

Store is always very clean, and the food is fine, quick, but not always the best attitude. I get everybody has bad days though... I normally don't leave reviews, good or bad, but this is a repeat issue I have at this location. I would understand if I showed up one minute before close or something, but it was 45 minutes before close... Again, food is fine (thank you!), but I don't think I'll be back for a while, didn't feel welcome. 😞 I want to express I understand if you're having a bad day, but just saying hello and wishing someone a good night isn't too much to ask, especially when imo I am an easy going customer who only ever orders one sub. Not very happy with my first (and probably last) visit here. One: it's more pricey than I was expecting. It was almost $25 for an 8" sandwich, 12" sandwich, and a salad. No drinks or sides. Subway is definitely cheaper and that includes making your sandwich into a meal. Two: it's slow. Like really slow. We went on a Saturday but it was 2:25 pm when we placed out order. So it's not like it was the normal lunch time. It took 30 minutes for us to get the two sandwiches and salad. I thought Firehouse would be quicker...you know, since Firemen have to be quick. Ha. Not to mention it took awhile to order since our cashier was slow. Anyway, the food was good at least but I wouldn't say it's worth the cost...

They couldn't take cash. There is something wrong with that. If you don't think that's ridiculous then dislike this post. Have a great day! ...... They make it sound as though I am the one with the problem. Since I at the time I ordered my question was do you take cash.... They didn't have that option. So they lose people who only carry money.
