Omelettes and More Restaurant — Restaurant in Mount Pleasant

Bright and clean seating area. I saw 6 waitstaff. The young lady who took my to-go order had a surly attitude. Just what people want to start their day! The other staff was nice. My order was immediately made because there was no one before me. It was still made wrong, regardless. I ordered a veggie omelette. It barely had any veggies, it had no green pepper nor the added spinach I asked for. I could not discern any onion either. I may have paid for the spinach. I tried phoning to ask if I had paid for the requested non-existent spinach, but one one would answer the phone. I called 3 times. I'm sitting outside the restaurant and there was only 2 more walk ins, but no one will answer the phone. Also, told the order taker I wanted my raisen cinnamon toast dry because I like toast crunchy. The bread is thick and doughy, no way could it be toasted crunchy. I got an omelette, hash browns and black coffee. It cost $13 and I tipped $3. I wanted to like this restaurant and recommend it. I DON'T like or recommend...

Attempted to take the family here for breakfast but abandoned that idea after stopping in and standing around for five minutes with multiple other groups of patrons with absolutely no acknowledgement by staff.

Eventually we figured out that you’re supposed to (maybe) check in near the register at the complete opposite end of the restaurant. And we figured that out after watching one family go up there, and then others.

If you aren’t going to have a hostess at the door greeting patrons and giving them some idea of what to do, at least put a sign up.

After others put their name on the list (some who arrived before us and some after us) we gave up as we were hungry and didn’t want to wait in an even longer line than we would’ve had some direction been given.

Maybe the food is good, maybe we dodged a bullet. I’ll never know because I’ll never set foot in there again.

HORRIBLE SERVICE!!! Very unorganized, need a designated host or hostess to seat customers. The waitress was extremely rude and sarcastic. Made comments to several customers waiting “you don’t have to eat here” “I don’t have time for this” and “go somewhere else then.” She sighed heavily and would stomp around to tables tossing down utensils and would roll her eyes when asked for extras. Waited over 45 minutes to get a table. We were seated and then moved twice to other tables to accommodate bigger parties. Then told to go wait by the door until a certain table opened up, which did then was filled by customers coming in after several waiting. Ended up leaving without food. I will say that the gentleman cleaning off tables apologized several times for the wait and the waitress. He was wonderful to guests and friendly greeting customers! Willing to wait for food without complaints but the wait staff need to have more customer service training or be replaced....
