Went in to shop the other day, was getting stuff organized in a corner and figuring out what we wanted and didn't want. Worker comes over and bugs us getting in our business before we could put back the things we didn't want in the correct area. You can't just assume that we weren't going to put it back in the correct spot after we were done organizing. Extremely rude worker by the way :) Decided to just ignore the bad experience went in the next day to shop. We didn't do anything wrong, this time we decided to not try to organize around the store just wait until we got to check out :) but noooo these old lady workers just love to cause problems, right? My mom was checking out I was looking around some more. Actually, I was walking around, found this learning book thing in a plastic bag that was already opened from the bottom. Thought it was kinda strange the plastic bag was opened but I took it and thought about getting it for my nephew, I just slid it out of the plastic bag because I thought maybe the bag was open at the bottom to be able to take the item out for a better view of it. I put it back in the bag right after observing it, JUST THE WAY I FOUND IT. We decided not to get it, put it back how we found it. Cashier was acting super sketchy. Bought a little box of books and the lady looks inside it to try to see if we put something jnside of it. Thats a good laugh! We only checked to make sure all of the books were inside the box because it felt light, didnt want to pay for an empty box :).All of a sudden explodes, accusing us of "opening a bag?* and asking where we put it? Didn't explain anything of what she was talking about. :) hehe. What a joke. Worker was an embarrassment to the store, making false accusations, getting angry in front of the customers is not a good look. And then representing that anger with how you were treating the hangers and the disgusting angry look on your face, and the bad attitude you gave as you pretended to act nice and wish us a good day. Thinking about the experiences there make me feel absolutely sick to my stomach. Was a 5/5 store. The workers make it a 1/5 :) We will never ever donate or shop there ever...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreIām from Chicago, and my dad lives near this amazing store. About six months ago, he showed me this place, and ever since then, it has become a part of my daily routine. Iām not exaggerating when I say I go here every single day without fail. The only exception is Sundays ā simply because theyāre closed. If they were open, trust me, Iād be there too!
Whenever, for some reason, I donāt make it in time before they close, my entire mood shifts. I honestly get so upset and disappointed in myself. Thatās how much this place means to me. Itās more than just a store ā itās like my little safe space where I can relax, laugh, and leave in a better mood than when I arrived.
The workers here are beyond incredible. Every single person is kind, funny, respectful, and treats customers like family. You donāt always find that in stores anymore, but this place keeps that warm, old-school, community feeling alive. And I absolutely have to mention Diana ā hands down the sweetest lady on Earth. She is so thoughtful and caring; just seeing her brightens my day.
Itās hard to put into words how much this store has become a part of my life. Itās not just about grabbing something I need ā itās about the experience, the people, and the positivity they bring into my everyday routine. They deserve every bit of love and support because they truly care about their customers...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreDidnāt catch this staffās name- 6/2/25 at 11:15 AM. This cashier was so rude, I was genuinely baffled. Went to check out. The teenage girl Iām with asked for an extra bag. This cashier demanded, āWhy?ā āOh, I just need an extra one.ā The cashier makes the nastiest face at this girl, rolls her eyes, and puts the bag in the second one. āWhatever.ā I stood there with my mouth open, it was almost unbelievable this cashier was treating her this way. My girl was well behaved and even said thank you. She just wanted to split the bags up because things were going to two different locations. This was only the second time Iāve been to this store, and I will...
