Costas Pizza & Steakhouse — Restaurant in Mount Pleasant

This place is horrible. My son and I went in for dinner last night. He ordered pizza which he liked and I ordered sirloin steak $18.99. I waited for at least 10 mins after he got his pizza to get my meal and I cut into the steak and I didn't think that it was cooked correctly so I ask the waitress to take it back and she brought the same steak back to me and said it was correctly done I told her to just forget it and take it off the bill Because I wanted a "new" steak Cooked like I wanted it .Med Rare... She took it back to the cook who cut or tore it in 1/2 then brought it to me cooled off and lying on the plate mangled and torn apart.. I told her that I did not want it that way and she told me that she would fix it so it was put back together. I was appalled and told her that I didn't want it at all and take it off my bill. She actually looked right at me and told me to never come back here!!! And she actually had the nerve to charge me for the side salad that I ate that came with the meal... Even after all the trouble that this cook caused for me... Don't worry Miss Cook Thing I Won't Worry Or Trouble Myself or Even Recommend Costas in Mt Pleasant Iowa to Anyone I know or anyone who happens to ask for a recommendation.... I hope You and Your Attitude cause this place to go broke... No wonder there were no...

Very rude. Treated as if you’re an inconvenience both times I’ve been there. the first time wasn’t as bad. Walked in to eat with 5 of us, the place was full with one booth left. So we decided to sit there and I said to my stepson (with down syndrome) that he may have to pull up a chair to put on the end of the table. Lady at the desk said rudely, “you can’t pull up a chair. We need to get through there.” Which was fine! So I said “oh, okay.” She mumbles under her breath, “and if you want to do that then find somewhere else to sit” with the rudest attitude. We squeezed in the booth then got right back up and walked out. Very disappointed with how rude she was and will never go back. It’s a wonder I went back after the attitude we were given the first time we went but this time...

BEWARE…Enter at your own risk. Service is trash, one of the worst experiences ever. The server did not smile, greet our table upon arrival or refill all drinks at the table during our meal. She was in a rush all night, barley checking in on us after our meal was served. The server (who was a older lady, say in her 50’s) treated my mom worse than my dad and I (I am a male) all night. We waited 15 minutes before our meal and drink order were taken. We waited another 45 minutes for our food (3 pork tenderloins). When food came my tenderloin was just barley warm and my wedges were extra extra crispy (almost all the fluffy potato had turned into dry crispy sticks). DON’T get the pork tenderloin (worst one in Iowa). I will not be back to this...
