The Vintage Raven on Jefferson Street — Local services in Mount Pleasant

Don't sell you're antiques through this store. It wasn't a good experience to say the least. We watched as our stuff sat untouched in a box for weeks. With the employee there claiming over and over again he hadn't sorted through them yet. Then the next day a different employee said none of it was good, but when we brought it home parts of sets were missing and there were items that didn't even belong to us. Antiques that did make the cut I feared for. As one item got manhandled pretty roughly, and another wobbly item I saw perched on the edge of a shelf near a busy footpath that gets a lot of foot traffic. Items in the store range the gambit of either being way overpriced to way underpriced. So good if you're a customer with a keen eye for pricing it has its benefits. But I would just stick to adopting...

Absolutely my favorite antique store. They have all sorts of items from toys to books, furniture to decor and dishes. Always seems to have new things coming and going. They are super friendly and wise people with history. Good people to talk to. They also have the most adorable cat that loves to follow you around...
