My family recently had the pleasure of embarking on a bike tour with Rebellion Roads in the charming town of Mt. Pleasant, South Carolina, and I must say, it was an experience I'll cherish for a lifetime. Led by the incredibly knowledgeable and personable guide, Ben, this tour exceeded all our expectations and left me with memories to treasure.

The Best Experience Ever!

My wife and I were headed to Mt Pleasant SC to visit the nearby islands and wanted to experience them riding an electric bicycle. Call after call to local bike shops resulted in disappointment after disappointment as no one was interested in answering our questions until we were fortunate to call Rebellion Roads and met Ty Weatherby the owner.

From his first words you could tell he was passionate about electric bikes and the area. He spent a very long time explaining everything about electric bikes and which ones were good for what application / ride He also (being a native of the area) knew the touristy and “secret” places to go. We ended up calling him 3 times over a few days and he was just as enthusiastic and helpful each time.

When we met him to pick up the bikes, he assisted my wife (who just recovered from a concussion) who was a little uneasy as she has not ridden a bike for years let alone an electric one.

Ty was unbelievable!!! After introducing her to the bike and how it worked, he stayed with her in the parking lot until she was comfortable. I don’t know anyone who would have done that and as if that was not great service – she was not comfortable with the bike seat so he changed it out with one from another bike!!

I am telling you this guy is passionate about his bikes, business and customers.

To make a long story short we had a great time on the Islands and purchased some shrimp of the boat dock recommended by Ty.

It's a great way to see the city and get some light exercise without breaking a sweat!

The bikes were fast, comfortable and versatile! The bikes allowed us the option to peddle or not to peddle. They were able to go places that cars could not go, places that were too far to walk.

We went all the way from Mt. Pleasant to the Aquarium in Downtown and back. We stopped for lunch at Shem Creek and were able to secure the bikes without ever having to pay for parking!

Even after 7 hours of riding, the bikes' batteries lasted all day without long a significant charge!

I was hesitant about going to Charleston, but Rebellion Roads has by far made this the most fun that I have had on a vacation day excursion, and my family and I want to return and ride the bikes again.

Ty was such a great host!!! He is accommodating and courteous!

When my bike seat came out of place, he was quick to come to us and adjust my seat as well as give us new batteries to insure that we could keep riding for hours without worry of losing power.

He offered to pick us up in the dark late at night, and he made sure that we were comfortable on our bikes and riding bikes that fit us well, before he let us go on our way.

Just make sure you come with your phones fully charged, because you are going to have so much fun that you will be riding the bikes ALL DAY!!!
