I am so disappointed that I'm having to write this but it must be done. My husband wanted Pad Thai on a whim ( I usually make it myself, I'm a professional cook) so I looked up best Pad Thai in Mount Pleasant and the reviews were very good for your restaurant. He picked it up along with the Crispy Duck Salad for myself. By the time he got it home it was barely warm so I opened it up to in order to reheat it gently in the microwave. I was shocked to see what was in front of me. A pile of dark noodles, clearly they'd been saturated in some kind of fish sauce, which I could hardly taste and Hosian sauce. There were a few soggy bean sprouts and a dry, juiceless wedge of lime. There was no basil, egg or chopped peanuts..This pseudo, and that's putting it midly, the absolute worst excuse for Pad Thai Ever! Nothing authentic about it. DON'T ORDER the Pad Thai. The Crispy Duck Salad had a good flavour, there was nothing crispy about the duck and the lettuce was soggy.. To respond to your comment, I said yours tastes like hoisan not that I used hoisan.. Cilantro is usually used over basil.. Which was not included. Where were the eggs and the pnuts? I checked both my Thai cookbooks, written by Thai's. I stand by...

I am extremely disappointed and angry at this restaurant! Last week I thought I found one of the best Thai restaurants around but I was wrong! I ordered the papaya salad which was really good, the way I like it. I also ordered a red curry tofu stirfry which was also good. So I decided this place is one of the best! WRONG!!! I called them and ordered the Yaki soba noodle and Thai fried rice two days ago. What a disaster! That woman and her cook made the yakisoba noodles so sweet I thought I was eating candy! It was disgusting! The Thai fried rice was not even Thai fried rice. The rice was raw and not evenly coated and not even Thai hot. It wasn’t even Thai fried rice. I spent over $33 and it was absolutely a waste of my money!!!! I will never ever go back to this place again! They called them selves jasmine Thai kitchen! What a wonderful name for A restaurant but it does not live up to what it advertises on its menu! Go to taste of Thai in West Ashley instead, or even Thai east fusion on international Boulevard. I’m so disgusted beyond words! Never again at this place! Order with caution or go elsewhere like...

We were in the area for vacation and decided stop by for a lunch after seeing online reviews. Unfortunately our experience was completely different from other reviews here. First, a/c was not working efficiently, so they kept back door opened in 97 F hot summer day. We ordered Yellow and Green curry, when they brought order on table, both curry looks same (both in yellow color) and taste same, when we called server/cook then they argued and tried to convince us that Green curry looks and tastes like Yellow curry. Can you believe that? We eat Thai food more than 1000's times, never seen Green curry looks and tastes like Yellow curry. We also ordered Thai Fried Rice which was basically white rice (which they served on side) with few spices and light vegetables, nothing else. This is the worst Thai Food...

Very nice and authentic Thai food, an opinion from a foodie Fr Houston TX, where food scenes are fierce, this restaurant got their food down good. We ordered a bunch of dishes from several visits, and everything was great. My very picky 3.5 year old toddler loves his pad soon eww. Their staffs and owner was so friendly and helpful. I'm so glad y'all here, this is my go to spot when I want Thai food now, not going back to Thai Basil anytime soon, with their bad attitude and snobby way of Dealing w customers. Thank you for offering great Thai food here in MPT. I wish you best of luck w your business.

Made it to the place because of a red signal when I saw the board and instantly carved thai. Amazing discovery! They were about to close, but made me a steaming bowl of tom kha, and I was amazed at the vegetarian options they had! Being the only customers in the shop that time, we enjoyed the Taylor Swift songs with snippets of beautiful Thailand on their tv screen. They understood mild very well, and gave me a spice box on the side. The lady who served us was so nice, The best experience and the best Thai food I have ever had! Highly recommend the place, for it's people, food and authenticity

What a terrific lunch spot! The restaurant felt like a street Cafe with the comfort of air conditioning. Large monitors showed street scenes, adding to the fun atmosphere. The smells emanating from the kitchen had me craving everything on the menu. The wonton soup was hot and fragrant with crisp carrots and tasty wontons. The curry puffs were flaky and crisp, with a hearty amount of filling. The staff was very attentive and helped us navigate the spice level options to get the perfect heat in each dish.
