Native Grounds Nursery — Local services in Mount Shasta

I really wanted to give five stars but because I felt hostility from management or one of the owners ( almost 3 stars !) I gave a lower rating but first I want to say how wonderful to sales ladies were to my mom and I and we're from out of state we didn't even need to buy too many items but we're looking to decorate a house in Washington state and then Maui but definitely look at some of the local items like the headbands and art pieces that are handmade!! I mean closing some pictures. Beautiful sculpture enhanced with ight... Highly recommended by Lauren's .. Mom. So blessed to meet Judy when I purchased her butterfly headband... Only $9.99!! Yeah... It's just so sad... Owner never smiled at my Mom and I almost making us feel unwelcomed ... Very sad 😭😢. I asked if they would offer a senior or military discount which one of the ladies kept mentioning would be a possibility and after a long wait it came back with a big no. . yikes... I actually would have bought more because I liked so many items like a $75 beautiful wind chime!! BUT does another reviewer said the items here are definitely overpriced.. I posted pictures of everything I loved anyways!! . Oregon you can get no tax and in Hawaii our taxes only 4% ! Probably won't. Be back!! Definitely need better customer service and...

People are always willing to help and a good variety of plants. Only thing I have negative to say is be careful when you go shopping. If the staff has transplanted 4" pots to gallons the day before, and you buy that gallon pot, you are paying for a 4" plant in a gallon of dirt. I thought a discount should have been offered for a fresh transplant. Overall though, I go back over and over and have been satisfied with the quality of the plants.

Management NOT friendly or helpful. We felt completely ignored but couple sales ladies in front and in cute ( gotta visit!) the little house in back with pots, wind chimes, fountains and LOCAL made designs!! Lauren gets 5 stars plus super helpful and pleasant to chat with about plants, gardening and local events and places. Only because of Lauren did I spend $45 minutes buying many wonderful items but VERY over priced on MOST items!!! Will post...
