Kroger — Local services in Mount Vernon

Amazing grocery store! This place was stocked to the nine! Produce was fresh, and there were so many choices. The meat department was impressive! There were so many varieties of meats. It was full, clean, and the prices were comparative to others. All the isles were stocked with a variety of selections, some I haven't seen at other Kroger stores! I shop at many! New Albany, Gahanna being 2 I have been extremely dissatisfied with in their selections and availability. The dairy/cheese section had more items to choose from than any Kroger I have been to, and my husband is an OTR truck driver. I don't eat frozen pizza, but if you want to have choices, I suggest going to this Kroger. The clerks were friendly, and so were the people! I'm a talker, and everyone I spoke or joked with responded happily back! I am over an hour from this store, but this will be my grocery store from now on! 2 Thumbs up to the management. New to the area , I quickly stopped in for a coffee at the Starbucks located inside the store on my way to work , when I noticed a severe oil leak on my pick up truck upon getting out! When I entered the store and asked an employee at the checkout if they knew of a taxi or cab service company near by to try and still make it to work on time I was later on publicly embarrassed, disrespected and had the store manager call the police department on me and were told they wanted me to leave the property immediately for “suspicious activity”.. What a crazy world we live in where it’s criminal ask an establishment such a simple question .. Very unprofessional .. Maybe I should have just sat in my pickup in an unfamiliar area in 10 degree weather without the motor or heater running and not seak for any help or guidance and figure it...

So I love this Kroger. They provide so many options for my Vegetarian diet. It’s great. The employees are so friendly and helpful. The only problem is the bathroom. I have had three separate awful experiences involving this Kroger bathroom. The first I had to report feces covering the floor and walls. The second was dried vomit from the toilet outside of the stall. When I went in today there was blood on the seats in two separate stalls. I know that Kroger cannot control what customers may do in the bathroom and we’re in a time of short staffing. Maybe consistently checking the conditions of the restroom could be an option.
