Really the only negative was that the AC needed to be charged up. The compressor would run for maybe 5 minutes and then it would be off for like 10 minutes. It was set for 72° when we got there and it was about 84° in the room. I checked the filter And it wasn't too bad. I set it for 70 and it ran all night and got down to about 72, at 7:00 a.m. We could have asked for another room but it was sufficient and we had a fan we always bring with us everywhere. Everything else was just fine so there's really nothing that complain about other than that AC needs work. They had a card in the room about writing down maintenance issues. So when we left I took our key cards and that card that I'd written on and left at the front desk. There was nobody there and I didn't need to wait so hopefully they take it seriously. Room 115

The entire place reeked of nasty cigarette smoke, or something of the sort. The hallways were dirty and who knows when they were vacuumed last. Dead bugs everywhere. Big globs of hair in our bathtub and floor. My husband wouldn’t allow us to bathe our kids. Sheets had yellow pee (I’m assuming and hoping that’s all) stains on them. The pillows were nasty and lumpy. My skin reeked of the smell when we left the next day but I did not want to shower. There was crumbs everywhere. It was clearly not vacuumed before we arrived. Our friend stayed as well and had to switch their room multiple times due to the filth and stench. The breakfast was just not it. I should have taken more pics but I was just grossed out. This place is overall just dirty and dingey. This place should maybe charge like 50$ a night, not $100 or more.

I stayed at the hotel to attend my little brother’s graduation ceremony, and I booked the last available room at the time which was a “deluxe” suite at around $160. I’m giving 3 stars because it was decently clean, did not show any signs of bed bugs, has WiFi and cable, and has a decently comfortable bed. It was quite run down however. Some of the towels were torn and there was no tissue and only one roll of toilet paper. The room was also right above the entrance, so anytime someone came in, there was a lot of noise. There was free continental breakfast though quite limited. The front desk staff were friendly, and overall this was a decent option if you don’t wait till the last minute and book the only room left (that’s also very expensive for what you get).

We were in town for 4th of July weekend to go down the Mohican river. We rented an air b n b in Apple Valley from Thursday-Sunday. The air b n b did not go as planned to say it nicely so we began looking for other arrangements. Unfortunately because of the holiday weekend and then Loudonville races there was basically nothing available in the area for hotels, air b n b or VRBO NOTHING besides super 8 had a few rooms left. We were hesitant because some reviews were very good and others were very bad. The hotel looked like an average super 8 and we didn't have any other options so I called to inquire. Clorisha was the staff member who answered the phone and gave me all the information I needed. Clorisha was very detailed and thorough answering all my questions and giving me honest information about the newly renovated super 8. She was super friendly and positive so we decided to come check it out. It was clean and a lot was remodeled. We decided to stay and enjoyed our visit. The rooms, pool and lobby were very clean, all the guests and staff were polite and helpful and you can't beat the price. They serve a small variety breakfast in the morning too. The pool was a good temperature, clean and had plenty of towers. The fridge is bigger than a normal mini fridge which was a major plus also and there is an ice machine in the lobby. We highly recommend this hotel. Yes it is older but the quality of service, cleanliness, availability and price can't be beat and there is a lot nearby to eat. There are grocery stores and a Walmart close. There is a local taxi service that is very fairly priced too, just ask the front desk! Thanks Clorisha you...

the check-in was friendly and professional the room had very comfortable beds and was pretty clean except for a little bit of spillage left in the refrigerator from the prior guest. They have very nice but small indoor heated pool.. has a nice small the well-stocked continental breakfast.. it was nice to find a hotel with a smoking room and the room is well stocked had a very nice microfridge with a large freezer on top. It is a 2 story hotel with one downfall does not have an elevator. the parking isn't all that great it's small and has a lot of big holes but this is Ohio.had a very nice selection of TV channels but another downfall is the internet has been down for my whole 3 night stay which kind of concerning considering I was here for business and they have yet to fix it...the owner / general manager keeps saying that they're going to get it fixed but it has not been done..there is several fast food restaurants and a good family restaurant right next door to the building and lots of of shopping you can just walk to.... I gave the hotel 3-star I would have give it for if they had the internet working....I would definitely recommend this hotel to somebody that is looking for a nice inexpensive and...

I made reservations and requested a non-smoking room. There were smoking rooms available also. When my husband and I went to the door it said no smoking in lobby, so I thought that the smoke would be in the smoking rooms only. I have asthma and it is triggered by smoke. I walked into the lobby and the first thing that hits you is cigarette smoke. I proceeded to check in thinking that I would be able to stand it for a few mins. My asthma hit and I had a hard time breathing, I had to leave, my husband finished checking us in and the girl at the front desk assured my husband that our room was well away from the smoke, we were to use the back entrance. My husband opened the back entrance door we went to the room assigned to us #121 opened the door and the smoke was so strong in the room as well as the hallway, my husband told me that we would not be able to stay here and that he was already getting a headache from the smoke. We got back into the car and my husband went back into the lobby and asked that our room be canceled. The girl at the desk was sorry that it didn't work out for us and refunded the money. If you have any kind of respiratory problems you will not want to step foot inside of this motel. It is...
