Truthfully, not great. The staff person was the best aspect of this business. Firstly, they advertise as a coffee shop. Which is how I made my decision to give them a try. I passed the business a few times because it appears at first glance to be a laundromat. Once inside, I was taken back by how many items are on the menu. I would have to guess that there were at least 75 different drink items. Out of those, there were 2 or 3 coffee options. Half of the instructions for making the drinks are written on post it notes, which the staff use because they cannot possibly remember how to make all of the items on the cumbersome menu. The names of the drinks were creative! But the staff couldn't really tell you much about them, again because there are too many to memorize.
The drinks themselves were odd. They reminded me of when we were kids, mixing different types of Kool-Aid together to see what happens. Or going to a soda fountain and mixing a bunch of those together and calling it "the beast". It's too much. Sodas and syrups. Energy drinks mixed with soda and syrups. We got a few different kinds of drinks to try (keep in mind that I had looked up Coffee Shops near me, and assumed that this would have some coffee options aside from regular or decaf), and the drinks that we got were horrible. I got something with Monster Energy in it because I love the Energy drink, so how bad could this be? Turns out, pretty bad. It was a flat, overly sweet, tasteless mess. A couple of sips in, and it just felt like an upset stomach waiting to happen. My partner felt the exact same way. So, we dumped it. 2nd drink wasn't any better. Flat, overly sweet, mess. Dumped it.
Visiting a new town and trying the local shops is always a risk vs reward enterprise. This was without a doubt the biggest disappointment...
Read moreMy buddy used to hit this place up frequently when he lived in MTV so I decided to try it one Saturday morning. Such a weird experience; firstly, I wasn't even sure if they were open when I first arrived. The doors were unlocked but all the menu screens were turned off. The grouchy attendant that eventually appeared didn't make any efforts to present what they had for sale, so I asked what I was looking for. "Yeah we have those" she stated dryly and immediately turned around to make said item (I wasn't sure if that's what I wanted and there was no mention of price but w/e) the smoothie was pretty meh, I couldn't even tell you what was in the thing. It was supposed to be peach but It started to make my mouth tingle; after a while so I dumped it out of fear it contained something like matcha or kava. Yeah I won't be back, I wouldn't be surprised if this place will be out of business within a year.
Edit for the reply: this was a few weeks ago, I drove by today and I thought I'd write a review. It's entirely truthful, why would I go out of my way to write a negative review about a local...
Read moreI LOVE THIS PLACE! I’ve gotten really interested in the dirty soda scene and I was so excited to try! When I went the first time I was a little confused by the menu, as it’s not displayed on the TVs, but I eventually found the menu. The options were unlimited! Sizes, however, were confusing, but they were able to fill my Stanley! Prices also aren’t displayed. Service was kind and the drink was UNBELIEVABLE! I got a Frankenstein and it was absolutely...
