It’s so bad I wish I could give it a zero, but because I can’t I give it a one. I came in with my boyfriend excited to eat a quesadilla, I ordered one at which point, Hanah so rudely informed it was a request that could only be made if I order online. I was disappointed, but I settled on burrito. I have autism and have a hard time making new decisions especially under pressure. When it came to what meat I wanted, I told her I wasn’t sure, she then, in a snarky tone told me to speak up. I then repeated I wasn’t sure and after a moment decided on pork. She was rude for the rest of my burrito making process, and when she went to wrap it, my tortilla split. I asked her if she could double wrap it, and she rolled her eyes, and slugged over to the beginning of the line, making a face at my boyfriend as she grabbed foil and instead of wrapping my burrito to stop it from making a mess, wrapped the burrito in a new piece of foil. The reason why I am saying all of this is because she charged me for barbacoa which is more expensive than the carnitas. It might be funny to be rude, maybe she was having a long day, but sometimes it’s hard to make ends meet. Disrespectful service and charging extra just because you don’t like someone is rude, and completely unprofessional. I would not recommend this chipotle to anyone, you shouldn’t be made to feel embarrassed or ashamed for wanting some food, or not knowing...
Read moreI work in town 3 days a week. I order the exact same thing 3 days a week. I don’t care what the cost is. However, yesterday my total was $12.48 and today it was $15 and change. The guy making the burritos is a machine and is a great improvement to your team. I have never had my meal put together so quickly and with a smile. However the back up today was the cash register. When I left there were six burritos/bowls waiting to check out. When i finally got to the register the girl behind the register gave me the $15 and change total. I said no yesterday the exact same thing was $12.48 and today it is $15? She turned around and yelled for the manager (I believe she said John) He came out and started to have a conversation to check out my order. I was looking at the line behind me and did not want to hold them up getting to the cash register because their food was getting cold waiting for the register. The girl barked “I don’t appreciate you talking to me like that.” Not sure what was so offensive about inquiring why the exact same order is a $3 difference. I could care less what the cost is but it should be consistent when the exact same...
Read moreAs someone who has lived all over Ohio and been to the local Chipotle’s each city had to offer, I can confidently say this is the worst Chipotle I have ever been to.
I am not even referring to how bad it has been recently either. I have lived in the Mount Vernon, Ohio area for the last 10 years and this location continuously lets me down in terms of the service received and quality of the food. Every few years I try and give it another go, only to reminisce as to why I do not regularly frequent this location.
I am not sure if this Chipotle has had different franchisees and owners over the length of these past 10 years, but it seems as though there is just a culture surrounding this establishment of sub par cooking methods and customer service practices.
Between the over-cooked or even possibly day old rice at times, dried out chicken, missing items in an order and the general disdain of the employees having to do the bare minimum of their job requirements( let alone understand what customer service truly means), I am afraid I have given this Chipotle its...
