ABC Select Spirits — Local services in Mountain Brook

Decided to go during the end of the Covid-19 restrictions. Was unaware that store was not open for browsing, just for pickup. I am completely fine and understanding of that and politely explained that I wasn't aware of the current setup and opted to leave, thanking the thee workers for their help.

As I was leaving they apparently thought I was outside of earshot as they decided to mock me to one another.

Absolutely childish and unprofessional employees. I'd even understand if I had been rude or a hassle in anyway but I wasn't. Nothing but outright...

I went to pick up a wine shipment today. It was delivered 29 days ago. No one called me. They told me it had been destroyed since I didn’t pick it up within 2 weeks. The woman claimed the district manager picks up all the wine after 2 weeks and destroys it at an undisclosed location by breaking the bottles. Really? I hope they enjoyed my $600 of Soter wine.

Every other ABC store I have used calls when the shipment arrives.

Nice place with a decent bourbon selection. I mainly stipped in to see if I could find some rums to bring back home. The rum prices are a bit higher than what I pay at home, but I did find a Plantation Jamaican Dry on sale, so I picked it up. They also carry nice, higher priced rums that are hard to find.
