Stone Mountain Festival — Local services in Mountain Park

Went to Walmart. "DAMN! DAMN! DAMN!" I mean Walmart does a great job of inconveniencing folks for there pleasure. That is the only way one can look at it. It's open for 24 hrs for a reason, people shop at all times throughout the day. So I can understand after midnight/1:00 am, if there is minimal staff and self-checkout is closed, but at 11 pm, is like the last-last minute rush of shoppers. A great deal of folks shop, go to fast food restaurants, drug stores, etc. between 10:30 - 11:30 pm, so why don't Walmart accommodate for that last minute rush of folks. But instead, they close down self check out and have anywhere from 1 to 2 registers open, so with that being said, there's are long waiting line with 6+ with a wait time of at least 10-15 minutes, sometimes longer. Now it's not that it's lack of staffing, because the saddest part of it all while folks are standing in line, you see staff standing around talking, laughing, goofing around, basically not doing too much that they cannot help alleviate the congestion. It's sad when you see them watching and doing nothing, sometimes they are even at the registers talking to the cashier that is checking out folks. It would behoove Walmart to work on making customers less inconvenienced and maybe you'll get better reviews as how you put the customer first. I had 3 items and waited 20 minutes at checkout. ...

I was going to give Stone Mountain 5 stars but now they don't even deserve 1 star! We reserved a spot in the campground. Then at 1am the police came and banged on our door and said we were not allowed on the campground after 12am. So I showed him my camping permit and he said that camping does not apply to trucks or SUVs. Camping must be done in a tent, camper, trailer or RV. The police told us we were required to leave that moment otherwise he would have to arrest us. So I asked him if we could stay at the Stone Mountain Court Yard Marriott instead. He asked me of we had a room reserved? I told him no but I would be happy to reserve it mow. He said that was not allowed. Our only option was to vacate the stone mountain property or he would have to arrest us. Thanks stone mountain for turning our vacation into a nightmare. The reason I gave this score, the is cashier is very rude and nasty. I called and was put on hold only to hang up and call back with the line continuously staying busy, went in only about 6 customers were there, I stood in line calling once again ant the line was still busy. I asked the cashier why did you put me on hold and she stated, “ We’re very busy.” OK ONLY SIX PEOPLE REALLY. As I picked up my order from the counter, she snatched the lid open, so I did change words with her, just snatched my box and left. This is the only wing spot close to me that’s the only reason I stopped there didn’t feel like driving far, but next time I’ll order from the wing spot...
