Stanford Electric Works — Local services in Mountain View

I gave it a one star as we never had the service. We were stood up for 3 1/2 hours last Friday and then a reschedule for Monday with no arrival or call in the 1-3PM window. Obviously, we did not reschedule. It was a small electrical cosmetic project and would have taken about twenty minutes. I provided several photos and personally visited the shop and talked with Chris who is knowledgeable and personable. We have lived in Palo Alto for several decades and always did business when they were in downtown and were very happy. The home pages states that they have been in business for over 100 years. The customers find you because of your reputation but I noticed there were very few current reviews on the website. They were mostly three years or more. Another reputable electrician shared that he has also heard about service to customer problems. I never leave public media comments but I'm very disappointed and needed to share my experience...

The staff at Stanford electric works in Mountain View , California is very helpful caring and knowledgeable to the customer and people it services and has very high quality selection of light and fans I would highly recommend them because they can also do Electrical work and repair or replace switches outlets and wiring and lights inside or outside the house the only thing I do not like is that they are not open on weekends and do not have electrician on duty that can come to your house on weekends...

We are so happy to have our lighting Wiz, ( Chris), from Stanford Electric Works! He's so knowledgeable and has worked with my hubs on placements of our recessed and under kitchen counter lights. He ordered 2 lights for us. I bought a mini pendant from the showroom today. It's lovely! His tech wiz hooked a new cable to it to fit our spot perfectly. Thank God we found Chris. He's awesome!!
