I've been coming to this location since 2018 after I moved to the apartments around the corner. I usually order on days my favorite server is working, Jamie. She always makes sure my order is ready on time and all items put together and my pizza is nice and steaming hot. My food is always delicious and perfect. Whenever she is not their and I order something, it is not on point, and my order is disorganized. I have always been reluctant to leave a bad review for fear that if would reflect badly for Jamie in some way, shape, or form. Tonight, I was beyond irritated. This location has steady gone down hill for a year now, since some arrogant manchild was promoted to Manger and all the professionalism was thrown out the window and obnoxious teenagers basically run the place with their lack of care for the customer service reputation Pagliacci has forever been known for. I do not order often anymore. Tonight, I was tired after work it's been a draining hot week, and I decided to call in a pizza on my way home from work. The customer service gal on the phone told me it would be 35 mins for a pick-up order at my usual location on Ballenger Way, which was fine. I get there early before it is ready, and it's busy because it is the dinner rush, so I sit and wait the 15 mins the lobby. 25 mins goes by, and I go to the counter to ask about my order. No one wears name tags anymore the young lady at the counter with the long pink stiletto fingernails is just standing behind the register gazing into space like a deer in headlights, does not greet me or ask how to help me. I see this other woman working hard and hustling (while the other girl just stands there not helping her), putting together people's pick-up orders in the waiting box. My order is ready she gives it to me and informs me that they are out of cookies and if I would like to substitute it with another item like the gelato or a refund of the amount. I happily take a gelato for a substitute. My $87 order was 1 large pizza, 1 personal small pizza, 1 large pagliacci salad, and the gelato. I get home ( which is conveniently around the corner) and I notice that my salad is not amongst my order, irritated I go back and get it, and pink stiletto fingernails helps me, asks my name and gives me my salad and candidly says sorry for forgetting it. What I really wanted to say to her was, had you'd been helping your co-worker and not standing there doing nothing, my salad would probably not have been forgotten about. I didn't feel like being a "Karen" to her face since I was tired and hungry, so I decided to vent it to Google instead. Like I mentioned earlier in my what has to be the longest Google review on this page, that the teenagers have been allowed to take over this location and they are not competent and don't know how to work together as a team to provide the exceptional customer service that Pagliacci is best known for, but you always hear them laughing and having a party behind the counter. I really hope in the near future that the management changes and the teenagers either get their act together and really work or the ones that just stand their and act like their working are promoted back to customers themselves, then would I consider being a regular...
Read moreI stopped in the pagliacci's in shoreline for a late lunch knowing they have pizza by the slice ready to serve. I walked in with no one else in line, but the employee behind the counter was speaking with a customer in the lobby who was at a table eating a couple slices of pizza. It was obvious he was complaining that it was cold and brought his tray with half eaten pizza slices up to the counter. The employee proceeded to take the already served and eaten off of pizza slice and put it in their oven where they warm up everybody else's pizza. When I took a Washington food safety and handling course I learned it is not sanitary to take back food that is already served... It would have been much more sanitary for them to simply offer a new slice of pizza, adequately heated, instead of using the pizza tongs to grab this customer's half-eaten food off his tray. I stated that this made me uncomfortable when she offered to heat up my slice of pizza, and obviously did not see anything wrong with taking back already served food (esp. coming off a pandemic). I'm not usually a critic but I do have a sensitive spot for germs as I had gotten really sick earlier this year and I'm now a bit paranoid. Having worked in pizza places I know that the cost of offering this customer a new slice of heated up pizza would have saved a lot of stress, not to mention a repeat customer. I don't think I will be visiting this...
Read moreOkay great friends of Mountlake terrace and BEYOND. This place right here, is a hidden GEM! And one that you can tell the owners are WASHINGTONIANS through in through there's no denial their take out boxes and creative themes are something special and stand out all on themseleves! I loved the vibe coming in like sit where you want order to go or just grab a quick slice enjoy a quick bite. Now the pizza within it's self hands down takes the grab for not just your normal pizza night. And needless to say this night I was really wanting to try something new but within the same category of what I wanted and to think I literally was in the dominos parking lot about to have just another pizza night and I looked up and saw Pagliacci directly across the street knew right away it was a pizza joint and I didn't do one more. Thought I drove over and the rest was history! I even had a slice of a pIZZA I would never have tried anywhere else because wasting a whole pizza on me to just wanna try and not like isnt worth the cost. But here it's so cool bc why not try something different while waiting for your food ? It doesn't kill you or. Your pockets but it does. Open up your. Taste buds!!! So please neighbors and far away friends if your around. The neighborhood and want something but just not the typical ... GO HERE. YOU WILL NO WAY BE...
