I’m a business student who was interning as a Promotions Coordinator, and I genuinely tried to help small business owners I respected, including the owner of Unique Cab. I even had a travel agency ready to use his cabs instead of Uber for airport runs, partnered with a local laundry service that would wash and fold travelers’ clothes before their trips. It was a free three-way partnership that could have benefited everyone.

The owner seemed interested at first, but then refused to discuss anything over the phone and insisted I drive out to meet him in person. I went two hours out of my way only to find out he hadn’t even looked at the proposal. Instead, he brushed off the entire idea and said he just wanted to ask if I could take photos of his cars for Facebook. He also told me his social media people aren’t allowed to work remotely for security reasons, which made no sense.

To make things worse, he showed up super late to our meeting because he was out taking fares for himself and left me waiting in his building with no bathroom access. He even told me to go use the bathroom at Starbucks while I waited. Overall, it was unprofessional, dismissive, and a complete...

After our washing machine at home went out on us, we were looking for a close place to do laundry while waiting on the delivery of our new washer and dryer. We found this laundromat close by. I used to be a part owner of a laundromat and I must say that this one was outstanding! It was clean, they had several change machines, plenty of snacks to choose from, and a variety of machines no matter how much you had. The cost was very reasonable as well. We had quite a lot of laundry to do as we just returned from a camping trip. The size of the washer and dryers helped us get in and out much faster than doing the laundry at home. What would have been an all day effort of rotating between the 2, took us about an hour! It smelled clean and all the machines were in good working order. I would recommend this laundromat to anyone! This laundromat is clean, it’s always up and functioning well and the lady who runs it is an absolute sweetheart. It’s open 24 hours which is why i started going there. I work odd hours so I can go anytime when it’s convenient for me. I used to hate laundry day, my old laundromat was overpriced, broken down more often than not and in a not so nice neighborhood. Mountville laundromat is so much better! I feel safe here when my schedule has me doing chores at odd hours. It’s well lit and on the main road. Even the other customers...
