⚠️Women beware! There is an early 20s male there, white, glasses, curly dirty blonde hair, employee that works there. He came up to my husband and I while I was looking at books in the booktok section and started a very uncomfortable conversation pertaining to the books I was interested in then proceed to follow us at close range for 15 minutes just staring at us. My husband asked him if he needed something since he was just standing there staring and he said "yeah, your soul" so we walked away from the section we were at and went to find a different employee to check us out because he was the only one up front. My husband finds this sweet, understanding woman and explains what happened, and as he is explaining to her, the creepy male is at the other end of the book store peeking around a bookshelf staring at us. The woman didn't seem shocked in the slightest at his behavior, in fact she looked terrified like he had been harassing her too, she said IF he had been the manager there she wouldn't be working there. We ended up talking to the manager, and he didn't seem fazed at all by the creepy male's actions, and I'm sure we weren't the only ones who had complained about him today. So, just a heads up to any women, please don't go there alone. He was definitely targeting women and harassing them. Stay safe, stay alert ⚠️

Read moreIt's hard to review franchises because it's always pretty much the same experience no matter where you go. Books-a-million in Muncie had never been any different when I've needed to stop in and find something new to read. I know my way around a bookstore and usually know what im looking for. I'm normally uninterrupted and can get in and out pretty quick. When I visited the other day I had some trouble finding what I was looking for and was promptly assisted by an employee who was very nice and quick to help me. As I continued to look around someone else stopped by to check in on me as well. It was a very pleasant experience and I'd have no hesitations in doing more...
Read moreLove the selection and the atmosphere but one of the workers kinda bother me. I believe his name is Andy and he’s the manager. He’s somewhat pushy. And not like sales pushy which I get but rude pushy. The comments he makes are somewhat rude and when giving him my phone number my mothers name popped up and he looked at me and said “oh you don’t look like a (mothers name)”. And I was like oh no it’s my mother. And then he made A little comment about not being able to assume these day which to me...
