Horrible customer service at the Fashion Place Mall location the afternoon of January 1, 2025. We had seven items ready to purchase, and stood at the counter waiting to pay cash. Too bad no self-serve check out, because the two girls working there stood off to the side hashing something over. They had been standing there talking a good five minutes before I even approached the checkout counter. I kept looking at them, like, “get a clue, young ladies. I’m standing here waiting to pay.” I have other things to do today, and was feeling completely INTENTIONALLY ignored. I finally spoke up and said, “Can we please get checked out? We are kind of in a hurry.” The girl with the pierced face and brown clothes came towards me like I was completely putting her out TO DO HER JOB. (Don’t customers pay your wage?) She was giving me attitude right off the bat, and tried to throw it in my face that they were talking about “business-related issues.” Excuse me? I’m a cash paying customer, and actual customers should come first. I told her that, as I felt I had asked for something that was completely reasonable. To. Check. Out. Reasonable. She told me she was going to refuse to make me the purchase! She was (again) refusing to do her job a second time. This seemed crazy to me. (I own a business, and customer service is top priority. I expect that same level of customer service at any business. It is a shame what consumers will put up with from employees.) The other gal in a white cap, white shirt, and white converse shoes came over and told “Chelsea” (or something like that…) that she would take care of me. Thank goodness for this gal. But the girl in brown (I guess her name is Chelsea?) kept up her hostile interaction, threatened to call security and I told her “fine. Call security.” I’m simply a customer looking for timely service. Too much to ask? I decided the purchase wasn’t worth this hassle. Turned around and walked out. Hopefully “Chelsea” or whatever the pierced-faced gal in brown’s name is, starts to have a better day, and treat customers better. FYI I found a security guard myself and told them the situation. The security guard said they saw my point of view. I told the security guard to maybe walk down to this Claire’s and get the girl in brown’s side of the story. Maybe she will rethink how she treats customers. Nonetheless, never going back to this Claire’s location, even though Fashion Place is the best mall in the state. UPDATE: I received an email from the customer service department of CLAIRE'S requesting more information regarding...
Read moreOn december 2nd, at 4.03pm, me and my daughter went to Claire at fashion place to do ear piercing. But one side isn't even to the other side, which mean is not in the middle. About 10 days after, we went there again to fix it. A woman who had black hair and wore black glasses touched my daughter ears and said we need to come back again and fix it after 2 weeks, when the ear have healed
Today, 26th of December, we went back and we were dissapointed about their attitude. The store's manager said we have to do it again, which mean we have to buy Ear Piercing Rapid Package ($85.95) like the last time. I dont understand because that's their fault. But why we have to pay that package again? She didn't know how to solve the problem. If she doesn't know what to do, how could she be a manager? She is unprofessional and she so means.
Finally, we went to another Claires store in Walmart 54, they made a call by themself and fixed for us...
Read moreI got my ears pierced here a few weeks and was told to keep the ones they gave me in for 3 weeks 24/7 which I did. However, they told me after that to wear earrings for a year. I did not know that meant to wear them overnight and so my ear holes closed while I slept. They should be more clear about that. I went back in to see I could re pierce them for free or at a discounted price, and had my original earrings and the carekit they'd given me. They refused to repierce them and said I would have to pay for it all over again. The original piercing was extremely overpriced ($48 for a 5 minute earlobe piercing!), management was rude, and they provided no clear instructions. They told me there was nothing I could do about a healed piercing. Extremely unhappy...
