Olive Garden Italian Restaurant — Restaurant in Murray

First, I would like to say I used to love Olive Garden and had never had such a horrible experience until today. We had a party of 5 and as we were waiting for the rest to arrive we had not been offered drinks nor appetizers; which is fine because we all weren’t there. Well as the rest of my party had arrived we were still not helped for 10-15 minutes, so we ordered our drinks and appetizers off the kiosk ( I understand that it may have been busy). Then so graciously our “waiter” Ellie arrived about another (5-10minutes later), had asked if we wanted anything to drink. I explained that me and my family had ordered our drinks and appetizers on the kiosk. She looked confused and said alright, they should be coming out soon. Then she walks away for 10 minutes, she comes back with our drinks and get the rest. One of the people in my party had asked for a straw as she did not give us those either. Instead of handing them to us like a normal person, she threw it on the table and walked away. To top it off she only checked on us ONCE out of her being our waiter. Then when she finally did she asked “ would you like any to go boxes”. First we had the endless all you can eat pasta and we’re barely on our first plate. I said we are not done and we would like some more bread sticks. Then she proceeded to stomp away and disappear. So we all were left there dumbfounded waiting for more breadsticks as well as another plate. I’m guessing the manager, came out and asked how everything was going with a stern face. We all couldn’t help as if WE were out on the spot light for being “difficult”. When in reality we were all there to celebrate, Ellis had made this kind of atmosphere so hostile and uncomfortable, We couldn’t feel as if we were being discriminated against. It definitely killed the mood and made us want to leave some place else; but we had already started eating. Towards the end Ellie had “went home” and we got the best waitress ever but that did not make up for the fact that we were treated like dirt. I recently had the pleasure of dining at Olive Garden, and I must say, it was an outstanding experience. As a Masters Student of Cyber Security, I appreciate a restaurant that not only offers delicious food but also provides a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere. Olive Garden, along with the exceptional service provided by our server Hailey, truly exceeded my expectations.

From the moment I stepped into Olive Garden, I was greeted with a warm and friendly atmosphere. The restaurant's cozy and inviting ambiance made me feel right at home. The staff was attentive and accommodating, ensuring that every guest was taken care of.

Now, let's talk about the food. Olive Garden is known for its authentic and flavorful Italian cuisine, and it did not disappoint. The menu offered a wide variety of options, from classic pasta dishes to mouthwatering seafood and tender steaks. I'm very disappointed in my most recent experience here, usually I have a great experience here food is good and hot put this recent time "Ryan" our server ruined the experience I was a bit upset because I ended up dropping $60 for a really bad experience he kept complaining to us that he had a lot of tables and we would have to be patient we were very understanding I really wouldn't mind if I even had to wait up, until an hour but I don't want to hear your complaints, every time we asked for something we would wait about 30 minutes for every single refill or round of things that we wanted, like soup refills, drink refills, etc and we had some remaining soup and we ask for to-go bowls.... We had to wait 20 minutes just for that and we also asked for more bread during the experience earlier and instead of bringing the regular set of four pieces he brought two pieces every single time usually I am definitely not the person to complain but this service was absolutely terrible for 60 bucks, we ended up having to ask a nicer server if she could help us out with a couple of things and she did not hesitate she also mentioned that she was handling just as much tables as him and she was still able to provide excellent service. Ryan also forgot to put in various food orders and when he brought out the soup he had told us that he had forgot and it would take 20 minutes for everything to come out again and at this point we were just fed up so we asked him to take it off the ticket, i would have asked for a different server but I used to work in the same industry and I know how embarrassing and punishing it can be, and I know how hard it is to be a server especially at a high Pace restaurant so I even tried complimenting him and asking about his day making small talk to brighten up the mood but At the end of the experience we only ended up getting 1 single refill of our soups and salad when we ask for more various times....that we paid for.
