My mom had a house fire and most of her furniture had to be replaced. We had both purchased here before with no issues. I gave a five star review just a year ago. We were in the Murray store several times and the employees were very kind and helpful. We had finished shopping for her and I noticed a wrought iron bed that I had been admiring throughout the process was still there. It was just under $200 and I decided to go ahead and get it. I paid for installation and delivery. Unfortunately, the way the bed was set up did not look very stable to me. And it did not feel stable. I am not a slim lady. I went in and explained it to one of the two young men that worked there and I actually found another bed I liked and purchased the second bed along with a mattress. I agreed to the floor model mattress as it was the last one and the floor model bars along each side of the bed. I asked what they could do for me regarding the first bed. He indicated that they would haul it away without a fee. I was disappointed as I felt like that was the least they could do but I didn't complain. They scheduled the new delivery and I was told the delivery people would call before arriving. It was around 6 pm so I called the store and they told me they had just left. They arrived and couldn't finish the installation because the store had not provided all of the screws. At that point I called to see what adjustments could be made since I was frustrated and done. I just wanted them to take everything back. Their solution was to send Paul, the owner, over to finish the installation. I spoke with him and asked if I kept the second bed if they could remove the delivery and the installation fees. He said no. He told me that it was my fault the first bed didn't work out as I had paid such a cheap price. I would not back down and he then told me that I just had to win. This part was especially surprising and mean. All of my interactions with employees had been positive and I have no idea why he chose to say that to me. In the end he agreed to reimburse me $150 for the delivery and installation with the terms that he not show up to finish the installation. The kicker??? I have not seen a credit to my Visa card or a check. I have not followed up with them because I do not want to be spoken to in that manner again. Which was December 5th . First they mentioned it was on the truck . Then they mentioned . Itās out for delivery . By the time it was my daughter birthday , it was not on the truck but Iāll will be on next shipment . It was not . I didnāt get my shipment until January 10th or so . Once it actually came it went straight to Murray , when I did the shipment in west valley . It was very upsetting . Then I was given a attitude because I i didnāt receive any of there voicemails . So owner Paul contacted me . Knowing I was upset and told me ā the next time I return , that he would take care of me ā . So I went in person and asked if I was interested in this couch how could he ātake care of me ā wasnāt ready to purchase . Rep Andrew stated he would only do the same he already offered which was $100 . So I returned asking for for that discount . Not wanting the couch . And Paul was nowhere to be found , so and once they contacted him he didnāt remember it so . They canāt help me . So I feel cheated . I feel like I returned to spend money . I could of easily went to rc Wiley . Or looked around any other place . But they said they take care of me . But at the end of the day . They donāt remember who you are . And pretend like you are not a valued customer . That they are not people of there word . I sent my family here to buy , my friends . Patients of our clinic and I needed to buy more furniture . But they donāt care about care , about you . They care about making every cent...

A few days later, we were told to come back to the store, this is after delivery, and we slept in the bed, that we were not approved, and had to pay for everything. I said return it all, they said no refund on the mattress, in this case this should not apply, Shelly, the sales woman at the Murray store, was so upset, that she took this personally, she did find a company to finance just the mattress, for 1264.00, and for 6 months which is not what i agreed to. I never agreed to their snap credit program. So she made an error, and is trying to cover it up by forcing me to agree to another contract. This isā fraudulent behaviour. I have yet to surreal to the owner, Paul. If u buy from this chain of stores, do not buy from Murray or West Jordan, Make sure you purchase from the owner that u can get a refund if u return the mattress. Great prices, so far terrible...
