Not One Hour Service I was greeted immediately when I entered the store by an associate who was sitting at one of the front tables. I believe his name was Don. He directed me to the sign in sheet, but I was told by Crystal that she would help me next, so I didn't have to sign in. She was not available for another 5 minutes, so I looked around the store at the different frames that were available. The store has recently moved, so everything was clean and well maintained throughout the store. There were plenty of frames to choose from. When Crystal was available, she did help me by explaining the pricing and the special 2 for 1 that was available. She pulled out a chart to help me understand how the cost could be adjusted by choosing different frames. After a few moments, she left me and began a conversation with Don. They were very loud, and Don used some inappropriate language in the conversation. Crystal did come back to check on me after about 5 minutes, but then, again got into another conversation with Don and another associate, Cory. This conversation was approximately 10 minutes. I was continued looking at the frames. When she did come back, I had decided on a frame style, and she showed me the other colors that were available in that style. When my decision had been made, we moved to a table and she asked about insurance and asked for my prescription. Crystal then gave me my options for lenses and since I was getting sunglasses we discussed the different colors available. Since it was almost 5:30, and they close at 7pm, she went back to the lab to turn in the information so that she could get them to me before closing. She returned and told me that they were really backed up and would not be available until the next day. She said that they do not like to promise them when the store opens at 9am, so scheduled them to be ready at 11am the next day. I did receive 2 texts, one at 6:50pm and one at 702 pm, letting me know that my glasses were ready. When I picked them up the next day, Cory helped me. The glasses were ready as promised. He was very nice and gave me a case with a cleaner inside. I love the glasses and feel that I did get a good value since I paid $189.80 for two pair of single prescription sunglasses. Read moreWhen I walked in I was greeted with hello how are you welcome to eye mart Express ashlee was the one who greeted me and emediditly and had me pick out some frames I found a couple of pairs that I liked she went to work said I would get a txt when they were ready I did and I called and the gentleman told me that ashlee had gone home and if I could get to the store by 7PM that I could have my glasses because they locked the door at 7PM and I wouldn't be able to get my glasses till the next day so I rushed to town and got there with a couple of minutes to spare mind you I am a double amputee anyway my glasses were not done right so I wasted 1 trip so I get up the next day and wait until the afternoon to come get my glasses so I get another txt my glasses are ready so I come back to the store for the second time ashlee is busy with another customer so one of the other employees asked if they could help me I gave them my name and they went and got my glasses and they were still not right I couldn't see out of them by this time ashlee had finished with her customer and had come over to see if she could help and she could tell right away that the glasses were not right and took them back to the lab to find out what went wrong she came back out almost with tears in her eyes they were going to have to make my glasses again for the 3rd time ashlee offered me a complimentary pair of glasses to help me with my time I was very satisfied with my experience once ashlee was able to take care of me that is the only reason why I was so satisfied even with the bad experience at first every store should have more employees like ashlee thank you and yes my glasses are here and they fit...
Read moreMy last 3 pairs of glasses (new ones each year) came from Eye Mart. 3 years ago I waited for 10 days to receive my glasses. I had to pretty much insist they be mailed to me, I live 90 miles away. This year I was told they had to order them and it would take up to 14 days because transition lenses had to be ordered. The girl helping us was new, she had to keep.asking the manager questions, no problem. I received a text only 3 days later telling me my glasses were ready. We went to get them and I just love them! The next day I noticed that they do not transition so I called. The manager said I did not order them but I did, my husband was right there. I did not pay for it so I said nevermind but the manager said she was there and remembers the conversation and I said I didn't want them. She was not there for that part of the sale and my husband helped me and said we did. Well, anyway she said she is going to order them for me now. Even though she is trying to make it right, 2 out of 3 times we have had really bad service at this location. Also the manager pushed my husband's hand away when he went to sign our name to the clipboard and said she knew we were there. My husband did not like that.
