I just added pictures & update to this 8 yr old post from today's visit. I've eaten often at this place and taken many people visiting from out of town here. Went with the folks and my sister. Food was good and plentiful. Service was above average. Impressive menu. Huge selection and some not usual breakfast stuff available. We'll return. Update 4/28/25 Met the wife and daughter for a late breakfast. Since becoming the Original Egg formerly Jimmie's Eggs there has been some changes. Some I'm sure due to the change, others the economy. Fewer menu items. Still good food. Depends on the wait person for quality of service. A think our order was put in incorrectly as 1 side item was terribly late getting to the table. Over all not a bad experience. Times are a changing and adjusting expectations can help with your overall experience. 45$ + tip. Not pictured 2 drinks & 1 coffee

This is a quaint place to eat, the servers are attentive, and the food is decent. This was our second visit, I got the breakfast combo of 2 eggs, hashbrowns, bacon, ham, and pancakes, and I had to take leftovers home. There is not a gluten-free menu, but there are options that you can choose from the menu that do not have gluten in them. The overall price of the meal is reasonable, especially compared to the portion size.

Thought we’d give The Original Egg a try and we’re glad we did. Sarah provided excellent service and the food was great. I had the regular eggs Benedict and grits. I’m something of a grit snob and will say these grits, loaded with bacon and cheese, were really tasty, without lumps! Our coffee cups were kept full of aromatic goodness and they served real butter. A great way to start our day.

After circling the parking lots of the Muskogee VA for 45 minutes and not finding a parking spot, I cancelled my clinic appointment and headed for Jimmy's Egg. I was promptly offered and served a great cup of coffee by a smiling waiter upon seating myself at the counter (I really like watching the cooks do their thing). He sensed my frustration, completely put me at ease and informed me of the Veteran's discount I could receive when pay my bill. My waitress was timely in taking my order; despite a full house I received my Traditional Breakfast in a short few minutes. It was delicious, comforting and tasted even better because of the smiling friendly team of cooks I observed putting it together. My waitress and I briefly chatted about the disasters that were occurring "real time" in our respective countries---she was busy ---the young man that served my coffee was busy---but they took time to empathize with me. My goodness! With a genuine smile the manager took time to be sure I was pleased with my meal. Great food, clean restaurant--+no sticky counter, fantastic, neat, friendly, pleasant staff with an obvious desire to work together-----seamless! I walked in upset and stressed, but I left with a positive attitude, satisfied by a great experience. Thanks,I really needed that and I will return. KUDOS to the Muskogee Jimmy's Egg Staff. You really know how to do it...

Really bad service.... I'm usually not particular about this stuff, I've worked in restaurants for at least 12 years and understand how things work. However, I called them for an hour straight to place an order and could not get through one single time. So I went online and made an online order, and when I went to pick it up, after standing in line for almost 30 minutes just be spoken to, they told me that they never received my order because they can't do online orders at the moment and walked away...

I had already placed my order and paid for it online, and it was very frustrating. She did not want to wait for me to show her my order so that I could place it and wait for it in person, but I finally talked her into it after some time. I then waited in the restaurant for another 30 minutes for my food to be made and given to me, which it never was! The woman that was working with me was told by another waitress that my food was ready and waiting at the counter, and she told her "She (me, the customer) will just have to wait" and walked off. I literally went behind the counter and got my own food and walked out, I will never go back to this place!!! Good luck to...

The food was horrible, service was pretty good. I ordered Eggs Benedict and Bacon. First, I was asked what side did I want with my Eggs Benedict. Making it sound as if it was part of the meal. So I ordered Bacon. It was not part of the meal, turned out it was extra, almost $3 extra. I was satisfied with just the meal, had I known, I wouldn’t have ordered it. Then, the Bacon 🥓 was burnt. In my waitresses defense, she asked if it was ok. I said,” Not really but it’ll be alright”.I don’t send my food back, ever. We all know what usually happens to it, if it goes back. But, First off, who brings something out that you know is not alright? I personally, did not care for the entire meal, I ate the less burnt parts of the bacon and I ate the yolk, only. Even the Béarnaise sauce tasted horrible … The hash browns were awful, they had no taste, not sure how a person ruins hash browns, but this cook did. He ruined the entire meal. My chocolate milk was the only good thing. If the Cook had touched it, it woulda been ruined, too. This was our first visit to a Jimmy’s Egg franchise and will...
