So my friends daughter asked for bell bottoms for Christmas. We started looking around for some mid October. We decided to go into our local boutique okie gals and are what they had. We looked around and got to talking to the lady working. (Elizabeth) She ended up telling us that the size we were needing (12 in girls) was so hard to find. But she told us she could make them and she does custom orders. She said she just gets Walmart jeans and then adds bells. Well we didn’t want the Walmart ones we still wanted the cute looking ones. So my friend asked if she could just get some jeans and bring them and her just add the bells. She said that was perfectly fine And she’d do it for $10 a pair and they’d be ready in 10 days. Now keep in mind my friends daughter was with us bc we originally wanted her to try them on before we purchased.
Flash forward a couple weeks we get some jeans and I dropped them off. This was November 17th. So they would be ready around December 1st. We just so happen to be shopping in the store Black Friday and talked to Elizabeth and she hadn’t worked on them yet. No big deal it was still within the time we were just . But in the last 3 weeks We’ve had 0 contact. I’ve been in the store 3 more times trying to get an update and left my name and number each time. This week I went in on Wednesday and talked with Miranda the owner. When I said I wanted to check on my order she said she didn’t know anything about that her mom (Elizabeth) does all the sewing. I told her we’d really like an update bc Christmas is next week and we were supposed to have them a couple weeks ago. She said she was going to text her mom and as soon as text her back, she’d text me. Friday we still hadn’t received any word back. So I sent this message and got this response..
I was upset and decided since they don’t offer a number to actually speak to them on we’d just go up and try to talk to her again Saturday. Obviously I’m confused because these are not adult jeans and she’s just now working on them today 2 weeks past time e should had received them. When we got there we asked the girl working if Elizabeth was in and was told no she probably wouldn’t be back until Monday. So we said we really would like to actually speak to her. We told her we’re having some issues with a custom order we made and we just really wanted some actual contact we were really confused. The girl working sent her a text and finished helping a customer checking out. When she was done she checked her phone and went to the office. When she came out she said “ she told me to give you these. They’re your jeans, she can’t get the fabric in time and won’t be able to do your order.” So I asked why are we being told this now when yesterday we were told they could be done by Monday if we wanted to pay the tripled price. She continued texting and told is that because e we didn’t answer yesterday there was no time now..... We asked multiple times to speak with her and just got the run around until we decided they just didn’t want to complete our order... in the meantime we got the pants out and held them up to which the young lady agreed they were in fact girls pants not adults.
How hard is it to communicate? If she took on too much and was behind, still communicate. If you’re having troubles outside of work, still communicate!! Even if it’s not you doing it someone can communicate. We are now stuck without her bells bc there’s no way we can order from a boutique now and have them in time. I see so many people supporting them and maybe their stuff in store is great. But when it comes to custom orders I will NEVER recommend them.
We were willing to pay the extra for the fabric but we felt we should have had commutation somewhere along the way. Then to be handed the bag and refused to do the order at all bc we asked to speak with her?! How on earth is that okay?? Neither of us had an ounce of attitude untill it was given. She’s pretty much put her nose in the air and just didn’t care. And never once did we...
Read moreSecond update…sorry you think informing the public of unethical vendors is childish. I just posted not slamming your business but a warning for you and anyone wanting to spend their hard earned money to be careful who they spend money with. Judging with the other bad reviews you really do need to vet your vendors better. I wouldn’t want a vendor who talks bad about me to other stores. Just an observation. Update…no different than one of your vendors joining multiple Facebook pages in the last few days and writing false statements. Nothing I have said is false and it’s just informative. Funny you mention names or other shops but I didn’t mention anything or anyone? Guess if the shoe fits… Gave one star due to bad acting vendors! Needs to vet them before she has them sell products in her stores. She peddles “skinny” in a syrupy lie, Swears it works—just don’t ask why. Pours out promises, thick and sweet, But never skips...
Read moreI was really looking forward to my order—the items looked super cute and seemed to be ready within the time frame the site mentioned. Unfortunately, it never arrived, even though USPS marked it as delivered. I reached out with all the details and appreciated the quick responses. I fully understand this was likely out of the company’s control, but it also wasn’t my fault—and I was really hoping for a bit more support in resolving it. I was offered 20% off a future purchase, which was kind, but it doesn’t quite make up for the $35 I spent on an item I never received. I also don’t feel comfortable putting more money toward another order, not knowing if the same issue—or the same response—might happen again. Just wanted to share my experience in case it helps...
