I’ve shopped at Homeland for a very long time but have just found out exactly what customers mean to them, absolutely nothing. I purchased a slab of baby back ribs last night for Memorial Weekend, it was the last thing on my receipt got home no ribs. I called this morning and explained to the lady who answered who put told me the kid who checked me wouldn’t be in until 3 I told her the ribs were for today as we celebrate the whole weekend she put me on hold only to come back and basically say I was lying and they couldn’t help but I could talk to her manager whom she had just spoken to about the matter I said I’d like to speak to him only to be ignored by the manager who wouldn’t answer the phone. I spent $179 last night for today why would I lie about a pack of ribs?? They are rude and choose to lose business then actually do a little investigation on customers behalf. Read moreI’ve been going to this Homeland for many years so since I have been very sick I thought doing a pickup order was best I sent a message I was coming to pick up order and sent one I was there at first I had a message it would be 5 minutes after 12 minutes waiting A new message said I had to come inside not being able to walk very well I had arrived in my house pants and was embarrassed but I had to get my order came in and no one knew why or where my things were finally a guy went to find it and I followed him to check out a deli item and get the rest I don’t know what happened but he left the buggy and walked away I checked out the new item and left the store This whole thing was embarrassing and stressful if I’d been able to go in I wouldn’t have set pickup time I’m not sure I’ll be back to this place after being ignored and made to feel like I didn’t matter I’ve also gotten home with fruit that you couldn’t see...
Read moreIf you are using SNAP/EBT or WIC, be warned that they are very chill about messing up your vouchers and shrugging it off even though your family might be dependent on them.
They also do not honor all sales listed in their weekly ad. On more than one occasion, prices have been adjusted outside of what is shown on the paper after in store or on the mobile app.
In the last three weeks, I've experienced issues twice and observed a third issue someone else was having. I won't be returning. This location might be larger with a slightly more expansive inventory, but at least the location down the street doesn't have these ongoing problems.
(Edit) Why would I bother reaching out? The manager at this location has made it clear that they train their cashiers to immediately destroy vouchers/tickets and can't replace them when they do so. Reaching out will just be a further disappointment and...
