I am local in Myrtle Beach, and I was ecstatic when they opened a few years back. I can find since they opened, everything I need to cook a full meal with the best available base products, like grains, beans, gourmet meats! (you cannot find such goodies in any American chain)- that I know are not grown with chemicals to maintain crops. I switched buying any flour, rice, beans, pastas, or any grains (that in standard supermarket are categorized as special items-such as green wheat, bulgur, all kinds, buckwheat...list goes on)from local markets, and instead buy everything from them. They even have the best German imported flour for best bread baking. But you can also buy real bread, for those who appreciate a non-sweet and good tasting European- type bread. It is a little bazaar that one cand find in the big cities, with goodies and gourmet food. Put something healthier inside your body, come shop the variety of exquisite and unique items. The staff is so friendly and can help you choose the right things just ask. They have fresh, organic olive oil, packaged at the source, Greece, Albany and other Mediterranean countries. Good quality olives of all kinds, you never can buy in an ordinary supermarket. Water imported from abroad, from companies that have access to real natural spring in the mountains from Europe, and I say this, because I know what water from spring means, I grew up with a spring and well in my backyard. Nowadays, all supermarket water is too much poluted with illness causing fluoride and chlorine, depleted of all the other minerals our bodies need to be healthy/ while I think best available water in USA, right now is Evian, definitely try the water they sell (Fresh Market has also some nice foreign sourced water, you cannot find in regular supermarkets). I emphasize a lot on water, because I became unable to drink regular water in recent years, and had to look around for the best foreign water. ended up with a filter at home. Also for water to be absorbed at cellular level, get a Celtic Salt, in crystals form, and out 1-3 crystals on your tongue, to activate the minerals in salt and help with water absorption and not just wash-out the body/retention. Anyways, I need to stop a bit to the many sweets they sell!. If you want something sweet, you better come to Europa Market because all the sweets sold here, apart from being exquisite imported sweets, they don't contain the most dangerous modified sugars that all American companies put in their products(the hfcs). They have wines, they have caviar spreads, and a lot of good frozen baking products: boreks, strudels, french rolls, breads, flat breads...
Read moreI visited the place for the second time yesterday. I went to buy something that I could find on amazon but for double the price. So since I was in Myrtle Beach I thought I would stop by and get it from the store. The lady from the counter instead of being thankful that I'm doing business with her, she made a totally biased remark when I mentioned that I was getting it from here because on Amazon it was double the price. She said. "All of you Romanians Moldovans, Bulgarians think like that. I'm Albanian. We don't think like that. " Wow I was shocked at what I heard. I wanted to say.. Are you kidding me? Instead of being thankful I'm buying your products , you are telling me to go buy it from Amazon? Don't worry my dear. Next time I'll give my money to jeff Bezon on Amazon. Thanks for your attitude. Because that' s exactly how I felt. I felt discriminated as her customer. Plus ,how did she know what nationality I was? I can be American and go to her store and buy Bulgarian stuff. If it hadn't been for the eastern European clients, she wouldn't have customers. She has to be careful with her discrimination and bias when she has an international store. And yes, this is your corner store, only a few products from each country. Don't expect to find a lot from your country here. Until yesterday i was thankful, this store existed quite close to where I live. But now, I'm not so sure. ...That...
Read moreBeing an immigrant from Eastern Europe you always have that itch for stuff from back home. Now I’ve personally been to quiet a few Eastern European markets so far, but this is hands down the best one.
It’s super clean, well kept and they always restock their inventory. The product array is from all over the ex-USSR and more! I’m talking about Russia, Ukraine, Moldova, Romania, Uzbekistan, the Baltic countries as well as from Bulgaria, Albania, Armenia and Greece. You’ll definitely find something that you’ll enjoy here.
Also try out their coffee. I’m not a coffee person, but they have some of the best coffee I’ve ever had.
And let me mention the service. One thing this store doesn’t have is Eastern European service, you know the “you buy bread or get out” type of service. The owners go above and beyond to help you find what you need and are very knowledgeable, plus they are super fun to talk to.
Pro tip: follow this place on social media(Facebook and Instagram). They always get new stuff and seasonal stuff that sells out really fast. It’s the only way you can find out about it.
Definitely my favorite place in Myrtle Beach. Check it out...
