If I could give this location negative stars I would. As someone who has a legit medical alert service dog, it is a spit in the face that they have signs up on the front doors stating service animals only and none are allowed in carts, yet they just let every dog inside. Even if the dog is on a flexie leash, sniffing merchandise, barking, in a cart and just overall being disruptive and unhygienic to the public. When I went to customer service regarding an out of control dog barking at my service dog and let them know their rights as a store I was basically told they couldn’t do anything and was constantly being interrupted when trying to state the laws. There is an air of not caring in this target. As a store open to the public all staff should know that they are legally allowed to ask two questions to service dog handlers 1) is that a service animal used to mitigate a disability and 2) what tasks does said animal provide to help mitigate that disability. And if the dog is being disruptive I.e. lunging, barking, sniffing merchandise and other customers, and the handler is not able to control it vocally? Then you are within your legal rights to kick out that dog out. Please go to ADA.gov under the service animal forum to educate your uncaring employees. If my service dog- my lifeline to be able to go out and live life normally- were to be attacked by a pet in your stores I 1) would not be able to get another one and be home bound until I do because that is how severe my disabilities are and 2) I would be within my legal rights to sue since you all have these signs clearly plastered on your front doors and still refuse to follow your own policies and follow federal guidelines regarding your rights to allow or kick out dogs in your establishment. You all at this target are willfully ignorant in regards to service animals and think it’s cute to see an untrained, disruptive dog that is endangering a legit service animal that helps me to keep living life as normally as possible with my disabilities.
Sincerely, A customer who used to frequent your establishment but will no longer be doing so because of the lack of care for myself and my medical alert service dogs safety and as a customer who is begging you all to educate your employees regarding service animals to help keep us legit service dog...
Read moreSadly as much as I rave about target and their pickup and drive up sadly when i decided to buy a last minute item so I figured I’d grab it before proceeding to get my drive up order as it is 2 hr turn around time for anything drive or pick up. So I just figured to grab it first. Sadly upon walking in I found my order to be sitting at the front door with the target customer service pick/drive up staff (cold food and ice cream included) bashing me as a customer complaining how i wasn’t in the drive up spot yet and how they were ticked because i had not gotten there. Sadly i turned around got back in my car neglecting the other items I needed to appease the rudeness and unprofessional of the staff member. Sadly, I knew this was my order since it had my baby diapers etc and the load they brought out but told me they were not going to bring my item over to the car and to drive up to the doors instead. The woman saying this was also th lady bashing me inside so I explained to the other clerk it’s not right for her coworker to bash customers they don’t know what could have occurred to those coming for orders not to mention I already spent well over 400 for two orders I was picking up not including the shipped items and the ones I intended on buying inside. Cost her company money and potentially a long term customer if this is how they are ok with allowing staff to bash customers of any level of purchasing capabilities. Give grace to others whom you don’t know what’s going on verses standing in front of target entrance bashing other customers vocally and loudly all who enter can hear you then demand they drive up to the front door for their drive up order and load them themselves. Sadly I don’t love Walmart but def considering after this experience. Being a target 360 member and this is what they are permitting I’m not impressed but def shocked by what I now...
Read moreLynn at the customer service desk was VERY RUDE during my return. I explained to Lynn that I had just purchased a gift bag and when I checked to see if my items fit (while still in parking lot) the bag ripped. I explain to Lynn the situation and she said that it was “not there problem once we leave their property”. I explained to Lynn that I was in the parking lot and still was on their property. As of matter fact, I had just purchased the bag literally 2 minutes ago. She snatched the receipt out of my hand and said that she would return it this one time but the next time it will not be “our problem.” She was Very disrespectful and rude about the situation. I asked her was she upset. And she replied she was “reading the screen.” I told her that there was no need for her attitude. When I was walking away, she said “have a good day” with an attitude and whispered a smart remark to her coworker. In which she said “she wanted a refund for a bag that was used.” As I started to walk to purchase another bag; I quickly realized I will not spend another dime at target with rude associates such as LYNN. She needs to learn respect, customer service manners and not treat customers like she hates her job. I WILL NOT RECOMMEND TARGET TO ANYONE. I receive better service at Walmart. I will be canceling my target card. In a world full of hate, I will not shop at a place with...
